Shoetopia is coming – be ready!

Shoetopia begins on March 25th, but say you want to get into Shoetopia early – there is a way! I spend little snippets of time exploring at Baja Norte, have you ever been? It’s possibly the prettiest beach sim on the grid and if you join the group you can rez poses and stuff. It’s a great little spot. Read more about it here.

Cae – With Love

The “With Love” hunt is starting tomorrow and I can’t wait. This set of jewelry made by Caelan Hancroft is one of the many things that you can basically “steal” for 10L. The Flourish set comes with Earrings and a Necklace and it is absolutely gorgeous. All of Cae’s jewelry is 100% original mesh and I’m super proud of her.. let me say that again!

Mon Tissu Blogger Search!

This contest is special to me because ever since Mon Tissu’s opening I have sought to collect different pieces of clothing as they have been released.

I think that I may have one of each thing in my inventory that Mon Tissu has ever made in at least one color. I’ve been an avid fan always waiting for the next new breathtaking release. Happy Birthday Collabor88

A year ago, I was honored at being asked to be an official event blogger for what has come to be one of the most epic events in my SL History.

I’ve been having fun looking at the new stuff for this round, which is Baroque. It seems to be a perfect theme.. everything this month is flawless.. and the sim is packed. I’ve only used things in this post from Collabor88 this month to put this post together.

Little Birds

This is my 500th Post!!

There is nothing more that I love than opening a book, spreading out the pages under my fingers while cradling it close and letting my imagination run wild. So when me Froukje Hoorenbeek of Dutchie sent me this little book with Anais Nin on the cover who is one of my favorite writers of erotica I knew.. that I had to look up some of my favorite stories from Little Birds by Anais Nin and snap a few photos.

When I was younger and untouched I had found the stories of Anais Nin through a friend of mine and well lets just say it helped in my sexual awakening. If you have not seen the movie “Henry and June” or have not read any of Anais Nin’s books I would suggest you go out and do so right away. Anais Nin’s writing is lush and sensual.. and well inspiring..

Hair Fair 2012 – Opens today!

I’m sure that you realize today begins a two week frenzy into the world of Second Life hair. I know people must save their lindens for months for this event. It’s win – win. You get fabulous new hair and the charity Wigs for Kids gets a percentage of the sales. The hair that I’m featuring in this post is from one of my personal favorite hair makers, Elikatira.

Now this is The 7th annual Hair Fair and it runs from July 14th – 29th.

What’s Next? @ The SL Home and Garden Expo!

First before I tell you that you must go and visit What Next’s display and sponsored sim at the Second Life Home and Garden expo I want to tell you about !Bang’s Birthday Gacha Cupcakes. For just 22L you can get this cute little cupcake that fits in your mouth and help celebrate the store !Bang’s second year anniversary.

So with all of the home decorating that is in the air, I am inspired me to redecorate my living room with this beautiful set from What Next. The Charlotte Living Room set is all mesh. The expo is filled with creative and beautiful sets but this one stood out to me as a favorite.

The animations in the furniture are many and it’s easy to find a nice sit or to curl up and read a good book or maybe even type on your laptop. What really strikes me is the vivid color and how alive this set looks. There is also a chair and footstool set called the Charlotte Chair & A Half Set with some adorable couple poses.

The house in the background is the Collie house which is new from Cheeky Pea found only at the SL Home and Garden Expo. A post is soon to come.

I am also wearing a VIP gift hair from Elikatira in Never. A brand new dress from coldLogic. Lily skin from Belleza and heels from Pixel Mode.

Stumbled my bum unto some sales!

You know, designers are making such cute things lately that I can’t keep up. Stumblebum’s Insanity round that began on May 15th has many cute things and I’m featuring the top and short set from e! and the dresser and picture frames from Cheeky Pea. The stuff is amazing and well the colors are very bright and uplifting.

I’m also wearing brand new hair from Elikatira called Indulge and Belleza’s brand new beautiful skin Lily. My feet are from Slink – the best mesh feet maker on the grid. My poses are from Purple Poses which you can get for super cheap at this round’s Perfect Wardrobe as well as my crazy cool color change nails from Virtual Insanity.

Collabor88 is full of spring

This months Collabor88 is really one of my favorites.. The outfit above comes to us from Kyoot, the striped sweater and capri pants are lovely and come in an array of attractive colors. The umbrella pose that I am using in the above pic is part of Lisp’s contribution for the month. Fresh and whimsical.. I love it.

I am once again featuring the Parisian sky box from Barnesworth Anubis. It is a perfect back drop for photos or if you need an elegantly made inexpensive skybox. The furniture set is a mere 288L from Cheeky Pea who I adore lately and the colors are fresh and fun. It is a gorgeous set.

In the background you can see the gossip bench set that I’ve already blogged from What Next but I loved how the colors went together and so it is featured in this post as well! I am also wearing brand new skin from League in Jen and hair from Elikatira. My jewelry is from Earthstones and my shoes are from Celoe.
