Creepy Kawaii-ish

Happy Valentines Day, all! I went and checked out the Creepy Kawaii Fair which I really enjoyed. You can go check it out for yourself here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/ZI%20Chantilly%20Dreams/189/65/530 I picked up a few things that I made outfits into.

The first look I’m wearing a new dress from Sweet Thing, Tights from Moon Amore, and boots from Reign that you can get from Creepy Kawaii. You can find these cute little Giraffe’s from Half Deer here as well. The necklace that I’m wearing is new from Cae and the hair is from Tableau Vivant.

The second look I have on, the dress is from Moon Amore, the head wings are from Sweet Things, the boots and the head band are from Reign, and the hair is a Gacha from Due – all at Creepy Kawaii. My poses are from Slouch, and my skin is the Amberly II skin from Glam Affair.

Holly Berries

I’m still loving the new things at Collabor88. This dress and coat from Emery work together beautifully. I’m wearing the Amberly 2 skin from Glam Affair, and these boots from Decoy. My earrings and scarf are from LaGyo. This theme is really suiting me. I can’t wait to put more outfits together!

Rabbit Fur Coat

I’m doing a little round up of some more Collabor88 finds that I like. First up is this coat from Birdy/Foxes and it’s a Faux Fur coat, but if it’s virtual, say it with me – it’s faux already. I love this coat and there are other colors to choose from. It’s very pretty.

The hair that I have on is from Tableau Vivant, and it has bunnies in it.. yes virtual bunnies! So cute. Half Deer also made some faux bunnies! Some hold lanterns or lights or there are even some holding holly. They are so cute. My skin is from Glam Affair and it’s the Amberly 2 at Collabor88.

My pose is from Slouch and I’m wearing the Belleza Mesh body and the panties and shoes that come with it.

Angelina

It was a lovely afternoon in Second Life, as Gospel Voom of Gos Boutique release these beautiful brand new shoes. I love the Angelina’s because not only do they have a sexy look to them and new options galore such as being able to change the bottom of your shoe and the metals that you are wearing, these shoes are expertly crafted and realistic (but not too realistic).. you can almost smell the leather.

There were many happy ladies leaving Gos Boutique with shoes this afternoon.

I am posing on the Pouffe that is available for purchase at Gos Boutique which was a collaboration between Gos and Ooo Studios, it has many sexy poses in it and this dress from Cracked Mirror that is available at Fameshed went perfectly with my new Angelina shoes. I am also wearing the Canto hair from Lelutka and the Glam Affair – Amberly skin.

Glam Affair – Amberly Contest

So I’m not sure if you know but there is a contest going on brought you by Glam Affair and you have until March 15th to submit your head shot of yourself in Amberly for a chance at some amazing prizes. Not only will Miss Aida Ewing take your photo you will be the face of a new skin and have a chance to win one of three linden prizes!

Wanna know the rules?
1) The image(s) must be a new image showing the avatar face close-up wearing the Amberly skin in your favorite tone and makeup.
2) Two images per avatar are allowed to be submitted.
3) The model and the author of the image(s) must be the same person.
4) No special editions (Collabor88, Fameshed, TDR etc.) of Amberly skin are allowed.
5) Morphed images will not be allowed (meaning do not photosource any real life facial features onto your image), in addition, images where the skin features are heavily photo shopped to render the skin unrecognizable overall will be removed from consideration.
6) The image(s) size must be a minimum of 1500h x 900w pixel. Any other sized images will be removed from consideration

Catch the Whimsy at Collabor88

Yay, It’s time for another exciting round at Collabor88 and this month everything has a colorful sort of whimsy and fun to chase away those winter blues, it’s about time. I am so tired of winter right about now.

This skybox and all the furniture are from a newcomer to Collabor88 called .lame. I really like this skybox suite and furniture that go along with it. The colors are a lot of fun. I especially love the bedspread and the views out the window on the skybox.

Everything that I am wearing (save for my Glam Affair – Amberly Skin and fabulous Gos Boutique Shoes in Marilyn) can be found at this month’s Collabor88. The hair is by Truth Hawks, the dress is from Auxiliary, the jewelry is from Yummy, the glasses are from Intrigue and my poses are from Marukin.

LAQ Decor – Bath and Shower

Yesterday, I was just logged into SL with not much to do and I got this note card from LAQ Decor highlighting this gorgeous tub so I went in world to check it out.

The Queen of all Roses a mesh rose head piece from Glam Affair, is now at FaMeshed and it’s gorgeous. I also paired up an Amberly Petal skin and Studded Eyeliner.. also from Glam Affair. These eyes were free from Ikon if you join the group (also for free).

My outfit is from Pink Outfitters at FaMeshed. It is a super cute two piece that I paired with brand new Marilyn Sandals at Gos Boutique. My poses are from Label Motion.

Ok, so I’ve been going a bit crazy over these fabulous new shoes that are about be released at Gos Boutique. What can I say though? I’m in love! If you haven’t joined the Gos Boutique group yet which is different from the regular Gos group please do so today before the shoes are released at 12SLT so that you can get a 10% discount and so that you can also join for free because when the shoes are released the group will have a fee. So just a heads up!

Meet Marilyn

Tomorrow, there will be full on shoe madness, so get your lindens ready for it! Gospel Voom of Gos is about to revolutionize the way that you wear shoes in SL forever. I’m serious. If you don’t believe me then you need to check out this Youtube Video for Gos Boutique made by Elysium Eilde.

The shoes that I’m wearing in this post are called The Marilyn Sandals and they come in Red Patent, Turquoise, Cream, Fuchsia, Plum Patent, Black Patent and Burgundy (shown). They are one of the most beautiful pairs of shoes that I’ve ever seen introduced to Second Life.. The others will have to be the other shoes in the new Gos Boutique Collection 😛

For me what makes these shoes so special is that you can save up to five presets and change them out if you need to for any of the skins that you wear and you only need to match them up once because they have this huge database of skins and if you can’t find your skin in there for some reason on the website then you can request to have it added. I used to spend hours trying to match skin tones and it was a completely frustrating experience that even turned me off of shoes for awhile. I like to have pretty feet in SL and well with these it is now effortless.

These shoes are brilliant and if you want to be one of the first to buy them then you should look up the Gos Boutique group in world and then you will know when you can, I do know that it is supposed to be some time tomorrow though.
