If you’ve heard the rumor about me – It’s true. I love to blog about what my friends are doing. I love my friends, without them my world would be pretty dull. I also love constructive criticism and feedback so if you got something to say and want to say it a nice way, I am always open to listening.

One not about the sale is, I’m not sure how long you have to go get everything you want.. the other thing is.. you pay full price for the item and then the rest of the 50% gets sent back to you.

Well It’s 2013 today, what are your New Years resolutions? Me I don’t have any yet other than losing weight but that will probably change in the next few days.

In case you didn’t know, Truth has sent out this hair as a gift it includes a detachable 2013 sign and it is an awesome hair in many colors, a very generous group gift, thank you Mr. Hawks <3. Also I got this bed at the Apple Fall 50% off sale on everything in the store! I’m not sure how long it will last so get over there asap.

Archie Appeal Funding Raising Event @ Truth District

I went and checked out the Archie Appeal Event for Gospel Voom’s Beloved cat Archibald. There are many designers showing support with items being sold to benefit Archie’s treatment which will easily get up into five figures.. and if you have ever had a pet that you just loved so much you know that this is a nightmare.

If we could all pull together a little right now for Gos and Archie as a community to support a Pet and Pet Owner that has come to mean so much to the SL community any little bit would help. There are even donation kiosks’s available at the event.

For my post I am wearing.. not much.. because the Entire Gos store on the Truth District sim is half off.. and you if you are going to go naked you may as well be in Gos shoes. The stacked poses that I am using are from oOoStudios and they have several different poses in them and the prop is mesh and very easy to adjust.

I had a lot of fun with these poses. The other designers who are also taking part in this event are: !bang, .emm, *elymode*, A.D.D. Andel, bent!, wetcat, Eclat, Embody, exposeur, Gos, ooo studios, picture this!, Prime, Somnia, and Status. I believe more may be added.

“Starting today and running through Sept 2nd, a fundraising event is being held at the Truth District sim to raise monies for Archibald. “Archie” is the cat of Gospel Voom, creator of Gos. He was hit by a car last Saturday night and miraculously survived and found his way home, but he was in bad shape. He is being treated for his massive head and facial injuries, and as you can imagine, the surgeries and veterinary costs have already been and will continue to be astronomical – into the 5 digits!

Truth District and several talented friends from across the grid have come together in support by volunteering their creations as donations to help pay for these expenses. Most of the items are 100% donation, and the entire Gos store (on the Truth District sim) is 50% off. Anyone that has ever had a pet knows how they are more than just an animal, but are instead a member of the family. If you feel so inclined to help this cause, head on over to Truth District today.”

Bravo & The Four Corners Event

The Four Corners event is still going on till the 31st. I’ve poked around in it and have found a few favorites. Featured above is from the “Delightfully Bright” section is the Bravo Collection from MOOD. The set features Diamond encrusted wrist cuffs, two different sets of earrings.. the Diamond ones are the ones shown but there is also a feather set and then there is this darling accent to wear on your shoulder… Diamonds and brightly colored feathers.. what more do you need? Also to be of note.. I have been absolutely MAD for mesh lately. I just love the texturing and the fit to it. Above I’m wearing a Mesh Dress and Boots from Celoe… which fit like an absolute dream with the standard sizing options. Both of my poses in this post are credited to !Bang.

Truth District Fall event ending soon…..

Less than two hours to go of the Truth District super sale where designers have put items out for half off. This is one of the things that you can get for half off.. it’s the Mudhoney Castor sofa.. and it’s beautiful. It’ has Couple poses, friend poses and single poses and with fall to neutral colors it would look great in your house.. you know in the corner it would fit perfectly where you are not sure just what to put there… hmmmm go grab it now and take a look at the other deals.. less than two hours to go!

Beauty is in the details

I debated about this dress from Malt that is at Modavia – back and forth for a few days now. I don’t always have the best of luck with prim skirts and I was a bit intimidated with how the fit might be. I finally bit the bullet today and bought it and to my surprise I really loved it. It also comes with a re sizable skirt.

I’m not always big on accessories but but I love the detailing of the belt that came with the dress and I absolutely adore the ::MOOD:: Parade Pearl Statement Ring in Frost. I am a huge fan of Jori Watler’s Pearls and this ring is available for one more day as a part of Project Themeory’s Weekend of Vintage Film. It is the perfect compliment and a beautiful detail to this outfit. The necklace and earrings that I am wearing are a part of the Parade pearl set from MOOD.

A few fabulous new releases have caught my eye lately as well as this new Moody Monday set by one of my favorite makers of Jewelry, Ms. Jori Watler of MOOD.

Glam Affair on friday released this new and very lovely skin called Monica. I will have an individual post coming for them soon but wanted to show you how lovely the skin is and that you should run right out and demo a copy. Glam Affair keeps getting more and more awesome with each new release.

Also new is a welcome release from Surf Couture. It was nice to go there and see new stuff. I have always loved Surf Couture and was delighted to see that they had new releases over the weekend.
