Have a Spoopy Day!

The scary pumpkin girl on the left is my beloved friend Sophia Harlow it’s been a long time coming but I finally got a picture in with her and it was so much fun for me this morning scrambling around trying to find things that I hope that we get to do it again soon.

This one is gonna go somewhere on the wall of my pixel home.

But what are we wearing? Collabor88 has some “Spoopy” new things and these dresses from the Secret Store are perfect. There many different colors to chose from. We are also wearing brand new Maitreya Gold shoes at Collabor88 that are slink compatible!

The pumpkin heads and the poses were just random ones on the marketplace and the location is Havenhollow.

Collabor88 for September!

The September round of Collabor88 starts tomorrow but I have a few things to show you!

These hairs from Clawtooth, this skin from Belleza, the Acorn Necklace from Yummy and the sweater from the Secret store are all things that you can pick up starting tomorrow (or well more accurately 12:00 AM SLT)

There are four make up’s to this skin in all tones from Belleza in Leila (which you can also find other versions of at the Arcade). These new hairs from Clawtooth come with fun little berets, and the acorn jewelry from Yummy is perfect for fall and the sweaters from the Secret Store of course!

So make sure you head over there when it opens tomorrow and score yourself some new goodies!

Can you keep a secret?
I’ve always been a secret keeper, you could say that I’m a connoisseur of secrets. I love words, I love the way they collect at the helm of my tongue just waiting for the slip. However, I always take a breath and I hold it in. I hold it in because some secrets are not mine to tell. Some secrets I even defend whether it’s true or not it doesn’t matter I like the story within.

My favorite secrets are the the ones that I keep close to my heart.

I could tell you about the time that I had that unplanned kiss many years ago. I was in her car, it was raining out and we had the best time without even trying. We went to see a movie but neither one of us could get in because we had forgotten our ID so we went to Denny’s.

We both had just broken up with someone and she was straight and I swear it was the rain but an unfinished sentence led to our lips meeting and sending sparks. I could almost see one as the lightning illuminated her car. She looked slightly taken by surprise and gave me a shy smile and I only paused for a moment before I kissed her again.

The rain strummed on the roof prefacing the guitar to Echo and The Bunnymen’s version of “People are Strange..”.
We kissed until we were out of breath and she started to tell me something about how she didn’t mean for that to happen and then I didn’t know what to do so I got out of the car and stood in the rain.

I half hoped that she would get out with me but she started to drive away and I went and stood on my porch, half hoping she would change her mind and come back. I had hoped that something would happen from it but she went away to college after that Summer and so did I.

Every now and then I think about her and I will go out and stand in the rain letting the memory of that night replay and my lips curl up into a smile.

The Arcade, Gacha, Gacha Madness!

Gacha, gacha, gacha at the Arcade has run rampant in second life this weekend and I’ve relieved feelings of going to carnivals from my childhood. The Arcade Gacha is quite an intoxicating experience.

No idea what it is but it’s a combination of the music, and the carpeting and the sound of seagulls that makes me throw caution to the wind and spend! spend! spend! Everything except for my jeans that are from Decoy in the photos above can be won form the machines.

I took some extras that I had from the Pilot Christmas Village and made them huge for this background in my photos, just a word though make sure you have a lot of prims available if you do this because it takes a lot of land impact to make them huge.

Culture Shock Preview!

So I walked around Culture Shock yesterday and a few things really caught my eye. I love the skins from Pink Fuel which I am wearing the Candied one and come on its only 500L and half of it goes to charity. It’s an AWESOME skin. I also have on a dress from one of my favorite stores that is at Culture shock.. it is the Secret Store and I think that everything thing Maylee Oh makes is wonderful. This dress is adorable and even comes with a butt alpha layer.

I’m wearing these pretty nails from je suis which you pick the base color and then… it’s cool because you can pick what color hearts go on your nails! They are really nice.

The shoes are from [ m ] and they are woo-den heels and to be honest I had to play with these for a long time to get them to fit and if you are going to wear these you must make sure that your rendervolumelod factor is bumped up in the advanced menu debug settings otherwise they will not look as nice. make sure you demo these shoes before you buy them.

Culture Shock looks to be a very exciting event and I will have more great finds to show you!

Monday, monday, monday

Hehe, just a quickie post because I lovvvvvved this dress that is at the Euphoria Cellar right now from the Secret Store for only 150L. The hair is a lovely updo and brand new from Amacci.

The Jewelry set is from MOOD and is only 20L for the Iconically Sexy Birthday hunt… and worth sooo much more than 20L for the quality it is.

Skin is one that I’ve been loving on all weekend, it’s the Linda Skin from PXL Creations and he just released four of the tones yestery. Shoes are Maitreya. Poses are Olive Juice.

Fashionable Bald (A challenge within a challenge)

One of my SL Resolutions is to do more of the color weeks from Luna Jubilee’s Color Challenge.. 52 weeks of color – This week is silver. I’m sure that you’ve all heard of it by now. It is a great challenge and Luna Jubilee really seems like a sweetie.

One thing that you might notice for this post is that my avatar is bald.

She is bald for a reason this week because one of the sweetest and most stylish women that I know may be soon sporting a bald look from getting Chemo this year.

Miss Shellbee requested for me to do a post showing a fashionable bald. She also wants you out there to know out in blog world that early detection is key and to make sure that you get those checkups.

I would love it if anyone who should happen to read this blogger or not do at least one post or look with a fashionable bald avatar for Miss Shellbee. I would be grateful if you posted the link here so that she could see them all if you should happen to join me in this. I love you Miss Shellbee. ❤
