Baby, it’s cold outside

My sim has frosted over now and I’m slowy adding things. One of the things I’ve added is from the Loft at Collabor88. This pool set can be used in either winter or summer. I like the option that it has to use it in winter because it comes with snow! It also has a cute little fire pit to warm up your hands. The bird bath and the old fashioned shovel are from Pilot – at Collabor88.

The outfit that I’m wearing is from Foxes. I really love this outfit from Foxes. It looks so cozy and snug. Great job on the shape and texturing. I’m also wearing skin from Glam Affair which is at Collabor88. The ear muffs that I am wearing are from Noodles – also at Collabor88.

My Hair is from Olive and the picnic set is from What Next.

Happy Birthday Collabor88!

Prettiness awaits you today at the huge birthday round at Collabor88! There are so many stores with wonderful offerings and I dare you to go away with money still left in your pocket! I have two favorite events in Second Life and Collabor88 is one of them.

Everything I’m wearing is from Collabor88. This hair is from Magika, this dress and boots are from Pixicat, this skin is the Artemis skin from Glam Affair, and these arm bands are from Noodles. My poses are from Kirin.

Rhapsody opens

I went to Rhapsody yesterday right around the time it opened with the help of my handy-dandy letmein hud. I saw this dress that I’ve wanted to get from Pixicat. I love the materials on it and I got the matching metal armbands.

I needed a few more accessories though so while I was there I got this hair from Milk, this rose head piece from Noodles and these shoes from Boom. The freckle layer that I am wearing came with the hair. My skin is Cassia from Glam Affair from Summerfest. My pose is from !bang.

Hanging with Maci Restless

I first noticed Little Miss Fashion Cupcake – Maci Restless sometime last year when I was scanning the feeds for Gos Boutique posts, and she caught my eye with her unique styling and beautiful photos.

She had a way with her styling that I admired and well red heads always catch my eye, so when I had the chance to friend her on plurk I did and I’ve not regretted one single moment of it. She’s funny, she makes pretty cake pops and she’s a great friend in world. I can bounce ideas with her she is a super easy person to pose with. I was expecting these photos to take longer but Maci is a pro.. she just whipped this pose out from !bang and we got down to it.

She suggested that we wear the new stuff from Maitreya at Collabor88 and she told me that she was wearing these adorable new ear muffs from Noodles – also at Collabor88 and then I just put on my boots from Apple Fall that I got at Shoetopia in November and this oversized infinity scarf from Ison that is at Collabor88 right now too.

Fun in winter with the Arcade

I wanted to do a little post showing how I’ve been decorating our little Holiday skybox with some of the stuff that I’ve gotten from the Arcade. In the pic above the Dress/Hair (cause it comes together) is from Exile for only 100L a spin. The penguins and penguin pond are from MishMish which is one of my favorite things this Arcade.

This Igloo comes from What Next and it has several poses and it’s just adorable and a perfect addition to your outdoors. The Snow people are from Noodles and you can win the snow people and you can also win the costumes for the snow people which I think is a pretty cute idea!

Crafty Sunday Afternoon’s spell L-O-V-E!

It was a typical Sunday and Ryleigh and I were looking for something to do. I had seen something on SLPinteresting – on one of the boards of arts and crafts that you can do with your child and I thought that it would be fun to try, plus we both love the excuse to get out the paint. This was not a thing to do indoors so we went into the greenhouse – which is new from Vespertine at Collabor88.

I put out some old newspapers, and she watched me sitting on the table wondering what I was planning giggling when I used the paint brush to paint my hand! She watched as I first painted the Letter L and she is very smart so she recognized the letter right away. After I did that I put my hand down on to the red paper. She sounded out the L and smiled when I told her that she got it right and then I picked her up and put her in the chair.

I said give me those piggies! She laved and shook her head no but smiled really big when I explained that I was going to paint her feet! I told her that we were going to spelling out the word love with my hand as the O and her feet to make the V and she wiggled her toes and giggled and as I painted her feet, it was pretty ticklish!

I picked her up as not to get the paint everywhere and helped her step on to the paper to make her foot prints form a V holding her hands up to give her balance. She pressed her feet on the paper and made a perfect V! I painted the E in after that and we stepped back for a moment to look at our work.

The craft had turned out adorable and we decided to find a place for it in the house. But first we wanted a snapshot of ourselves – to show off our little project! After the paint dries we will find a place for it in our new home!

Blog with a kiddo challenge

A few days ago I was snapping a few photos of my daughter Ryleigh and I got the idea to get rez another pose stand right next to her and take some photos along side of her. I was already wearing this dress from Tres Blah which is at Collabor88 right now and I thought it was kinda matchy with hers so I put on the hair and glasses that to me are similar and and we got out our face animators and had a lot of fun!

So my challenge to you fellow bloggers is to grab a kiddo – it could be your daughter, son, sister, brother cousin, friend.. etc and take a few fun snaps.

You just gotta get an pose stand and make a copy of it and viola – there you go, or you can get a pose for two people if you want! You can switch the poses around and get out your own face animators if you wanna and well it was a blast to do this with Ryleigh! She had fun too and then boom you have new photos that are adorable! It’s pretty easy right?

Petite Bowtique @ Limited 50

Hi, me again! I wanted to show something else from Limited 50 from Petite Bowtique. I like this set because it would be great furniture and/or a great prop for a childs room but it also could be adjusted for adults and the dances in the mirror are a lot of fun!

You could even make your own little dressing room out of this and take fabulous dress up photos – and the set is also customizable with your stamped on the rug!
