Snowy Tea Party

There were new things opening up all this weekend. First I want to mention is Leaf on the Wind which you can read about on the page. In my photo I used a tea set and some food items from the event. The tea kettle and cups are from Dust Bunny and the Food items and plates are from Ispachi. Both items are donation items. It’s a great little event and well worth checking out.

The table that I’m using is from The Seasons Story and it’s from Junk. It comes with two different chairs – one has a pillow and one does not as well as a patio table. I love the little owl that is on the cushion.

The things that I am wearing are from Collabor88. The nightgown is from Baiastice and the hair is from D!va. The necklace is from Yummy and my skin is from Glam Affair. My pose is from Marukin.

Ode to Autumn Afternoons

There is a crisp chill in the air in the part of the country that I live in. I like to reflect the seasons in our home in Second Life as well. The Liaison Collaborative has some things that you need to get in touch with the season.

There is a hot tub from Pixel Mode that comes in high and low rez versions as well as adult and pg. There is also a set from Mudhoney with chairs and metallic decorating pumpkins. I used a few odds and ends from stuff that I already had to try to tie things together. If you see something as always, feel free to ask me.

This basin with apples and candles is a must have from Alouette, which is available at the main store.

.junk’s Hunt Skybox at Fameshed

.junk has a brand new skybox at Fameshed and it’s a first for .junk to make a skybox. The skybox itself is around 20LI and it has a little perch over the main area that I could put a little bedroom over.

I decorated the skybox with just stuff that I had in my inventory.

Some of my favorite places to shop for furniture (that are featured in this skybox) are .junk (of course), mudhoney, alouette, vespertine, apple fall, floorplan, oyasumi, the loft, pilot, aria, second spaces, what next – and that makes up just a handful of the stores out there that make amazing mesh pieces.

I did a quick mash up of things from two events going on right now. The first is the Liaison Collaborative – The bed, light & side table shown is from Pixel Mode, and the book shelf is from Alouette. I am also using a pose from the event from Ma Vie.

Sylvia is also wearing a dress from Maitreya, hair from Argrace, and shoes from Fri.day.

The second event that is going on is the Men’s Dept. I dressed my male alt Case up in jeans from Amerie and tattoos from Reckless. I also used this bench from Stockholm & Lima to put at the foot of the bed and a chair, and wall hanging from Soy.

Case is also wearing skin from Tableau Vivant, hair from Wasabi Pills and glasses from Kuana.

Juliana is enchanted

The other day I logged on to my platform and I look down and one of my daughters, Juliana was laying on my platform with her blanket and pillow sleeping and I had just gotten this Rainy Day Bench from Alouette for the Neighborhood and I thought it would be cute to put her on it. Well it was so cute, I added some of Anya Ohmai’s fairies from the Arcade and took these two photos.

Gnome, sayin?

There is some serious cuteness afoot at the Arcade and it comes in the shape of these little Gnomes from Mutresse. I think that they are adorable and I like how they just took over my “Glamping set from Alouette and got into the drinks from Floorplan’s little garden party.

Alouette for The Liaison Collaborative

The Item that I am featuring in this post is the Amelie Beach Cabin from Alouette. It’s adorable and perfect if you have a little beach on your sim, wish to make one or a nice little cozy place for a single person or couple. Best of all it’s only 19LI. You can pick up your own copy at the Liaison Collaborative’s garden.

Alouette is Fit for a Princess

On April 1st an event that is Fit for a Princess will begin and for this event Alouette has made a Princess Tower that is only 42LI and has a long and winding stair way up to the top with a room that would serve well for a single person that wants a cozy space or for a children’s play area.

This tower is super cute and the textures on it are well done.

New @ The Loft: Alda Kids Room

The Loft, has recently released a brand new children’s bedroom set and I spent some time today with the help of my beautiful ginger twins illustrating some of the perks of this new bedroom set from the Loft. Some of the notable features include:

I also used several things in this photo from Boogers – These bears are still at the Arcade for another few days and after the Arcade is closed this round.. you can’t get the bears any longer, they will be retired. So best to go now and finish your collection while there is still time.

Boogers is one of my favorite stores for kids furniture and I’ve also used some toys as well as the artist easel in these photos. The white rocking chair with the pudding bear on it is also from and the Purple Glitter chair is from Cooties, which is more focused on items for girls.. so it’s like a sister store to Boogers

More stores that sell items that are workable for children’s bedrooms are Half Deer (the sheep in the photo) MishMish (The ballerina box), Floorplan (the Books, and Alouette. I used the spring bunting form Lark over the desk.

I used these bits and pieces to try to make the room look more complete. But it’s nice to have a mix and match of styles.

Lazy Sunday Gardening with Alouette

Before I talk about anything else, happy 200th Sunday to the weekly event Lazy Sunday! Yay. This green house pictured above is actually one of the items and yep it’s only 75L today and it’s from one of the most adorable mesh furniture stores on the grid, Alouette!

I love my little virtual garden, the veggies and fruits that I’m growing in this post are from one of my favorite little stores for such things: Dysfunctional Dolly Designs or DDD. There are so many great things there that every time I go I always end up spending more money than I mean to!

I also must say that I love my little swing set and merry go round from What Next.

These garden gates are from .emm shop by Snowy Melody.

I think that I’ve collected all of the gardening items from Pixel Mode at the Arcade that is still going on so get over here and collect them all! My trees are mostly from Studio Skye and Alirum and LAQ.
