Homespun Holiday

I went a little crazy between Arcade shopping and decorating for the holidays. There was an adorable skybox from Llorisen for 100L per play and I couldn’t resist making a little home away from home!

I’m very partial to the store Junk. Not only because I work for them but because I really love the look of their items and I adore their Living room set.

Ode to Autumn Afternoons

There is a crisp chill in the air in the part of the country that I live in. I like to reflect the seasons in our home in Second Life as well. The Liaison Collaborative has some things that you need to get in touch with the season.

There is a hot tub from Pixel Mode that comes in high and low rez versions as well as adult and pg. There is also a set from Mudhoney with chairs and metallic decorating pumpkins. I used a few odds and ends from stuff that I already had to try to tie things together. If you see something as always, feel free to ask me.

This basin with apples and candles is a must have from Alouette, which is available at the main store.

.junk’s Hunt Skybox at Fameshed

.junk has a brand new skybox at Fameshed and it’s a first for .junk to make a skybox. The skybox itself is around 20LI and it has a little perch over the main area that I could put a little bedroom over.

I decorated the skybox with just stuff that I had in my inventory.

Some of my favorite places to shop for furniture (that are featured in this skybox) are .junk (of course), mudhoney, alouette, vespertine, apple fall, floorplan, oyasumi, the loft, pilot, aria, second spaces, what next – and that makes up just a handful of the stores out there that make amazing mesh pieces.

Furnished @ Collabor88

Yesterday afternoon, I started looking through the furniture at Collabor88 and put together a little room that my daughter Pudding looked at and said Maleficent! It made me laugh but I really love these colors together. The color palette and mood this round is one of my favorites.

I have furniture pieces in this post from Aria, Mudhoney, Floorplan, Zigana and Commoner. The only thing not from Collabor88 is this rug from Apple Fall because I felt like the room needed a rug.

Mudhoney and Lark at the Home show

I set up a new garden area in the back yard of my SL home from stuff that I saw at the Home Show! The Home Show is only five days in and will be going on all month so make sure you get over there and check out all the things!

Twins!

Yesterday it became official! We were on trial with two adorable little girls Juliana and Melanie and our trial came to an end and I think they are the most adorable, and amazing kiddos ever. So fun and interactive and I’m so happy to welcome them home.

Last week we started decorating their room. I gathered the girls up to the platform and put out a bunch of things and they made of pile of some of the stuff that they wanted and then I took the pile of saved stuff and rezzed in the house and we started moving it all around and of course they added stuff and I’m so happy with their room!

Sometimes its a bit tricky getting all the things that you want to work together in a room and furniture for kids in Second life can be a bit tricky. The Penelope beds from Mudhoney “wowwed” me at first sight and the canopy over the beds is something that my god bebe did and I fell in love with and used it for their room. Mudhoney also made these pretty ruffled curtains.

The canopy is from an older garden party set from Cheeky Pea with Pilot. I’m not certain on where it is now but its from one of those stores.

Lark has many cute things also for a child room. Some of the panda stuff, the mobiles, some of the books and the cupcakes. Apple Fall has many little odds and ends like the frames on the wall, the dream sign, the little doll house and the dress form.

I would also try Half Deer for the pandas in the corner and Floorplan little lights, books on the floor and things. Mishmish is another favorite of mine too – the peacocks, and fairy and so many cute things.

Their room is one of my favorites in the house. I’m still decorating but I hope to post more soon!

Little Cabin in the Woods – Collabor88 Style

I wanted to do a home post because of all the great home items at Collabor88 this round which ends on December the 6th. You still have time to go and pick up some of these pieces.

I used the Cabin from Scarlet Creative, living room furniture from Mudhoney, Odds and ends from Aphrodite, the bedroom from Pilot, Some odds and ends from Apple Fall, The cabinet from Schadenfreude, lighting fixtures from floorplan and a few things that were not at Collabor88 but are easy enough to find.

I also bought the new Christmas/Holiday Tree from Laqroki Decor. If you see something that I haven’t listed please feel free to leave a comment or shoot an IM.

Eva launches at Gos Boutique today at 12 SLT PM

Today, at about 12SLT PM Gospel Voom will release this new and beautiful shoe called “Eva”.

If you are not already a part of the Boutique group you may wish to join to stay tuned. I am wearing the shoe in black satin but these shoes also come in other colors such as champagne, red satin, black leather, gold, silver, white satin and red leather. To date, I think these are my favorite and definitely have allure and that certain sex appeal where your own skin is really the only accessory that you will need to make an impression.

The couch that I am using in this photo is from Mudhoney and will be at the Home Show on July 1st, stay tuned for that SLURL for that as it promises to be an amazing event.

MudHoney at the Second Life Home and Garden Expo

I really love the beds that Rayvn Hynes of MudHoney made for the Second Life Home and Garden Expo. The Evie Beds have a beautiful peacock headboard and colorful bedding options and they are versatile and can be used by kids, teens and even adults. The beds are also only 15 prims each, and the drawer side tables are only 1 prim!! The dolls are one prim as well and you can change the color of their dresses by clicking them and you can even set who has access to them.

The night stands are in the RFL kiosks. The baby blue, pink and white will be available in one kiosk, and the royal blue, turquoise and red will be available in the other. 100% of the sales from the nightstands will go to RFL.

.Happy Homes. The Sofia Cottage

Amaliscious Destiny of .Happy Homes. has released a new and adorable three bedroom family home. The house does contain mesh and it is only 165 prims.

You can visit the Sofia Cottage here in world to see for yourself but I find that with it’s unique floor plan and spacious rooms that this house is perfect for a family or perhaps for a couple that would like a few extra guest bedrooms. The house has a laundry area, bathroom, living room, family room or study, three bedrooms, dining room and the exterior is very charming. You can copy and mod the house as well.

I tried to include several photos to give some decorating ideas and used pieces from The Loft, Lisp, Pilot, Mudhoney, LAQ Decor, Bazar, Noble home furnishings, and Alouette are some of the places that I enjoy shopping at that I put pieces here and there in the house. This home has much potential for cuteness though, so if you are in the market for a new home or just enjoy collecting houses like I do, this could be the perfect house for you!
