The Fetish Fair opens tomorrow and so far I’ve seen some really cool things, so keep your eyes out for it if you are so inclined.

The Dreamers Factory

Hey! There is a new event that opened up and it’s called The Dreamers Factory and I had a chance to stop by there on Sunday and I found two things that I really liked. There are these little winged poofy things from MishMish and Ice Cream Cone seats with cute poses from Flowey. Both of these are Gacha items!

One thing that I found at the Hair Fair was this gorgeous sparkly hair from Exile and it’s only one linden! This Lingerie set from Luxuria is new to the Deck’s Attic right now and it works with the regular avatar, the slink mesh avatar or the wowmeh one. It’s a lovely set! Anyhow have a great Tuesday!

Late Night Tales

This Lounger is pretty fantastic and you can get it for 300L at the Men’s Dept, and there is also a PG version of it that is a bit cheaper. It is from a new to me brand called Stockholm & Lima.

I am wearing hair from Argrace, The Cassia skin from Glam Affair at Summerfest as well as the Tres Blah Kimono from Summerfest. I am also wearing the Slink Body, with Hucci Lingerie appliers. My poses are from Flowey. My shoes are from Reign at Hello Sunshine which I believe has now closed and my eyes are from Ikon.

Getting Naked for Slink Physique

On Wednesday, Slink had a new release which was a long awaited fitted mesh body called Slink Physique. I’ve been playing with it most of the day and I’ve even taking a few photos. Even in the most elaborate of poses, when it’s time to edit your photos there is not much that needs to be done to them.

I am using the appliers from Glam Affair that are at out the store now with this mesh body.

In the pack there was also an example of what you could wear with this. There was an underwear set and a dress as shown below.. you will have to spend about a half hour or so playing around with this and discovering what works best for you.

Some tricks and tips for the Slink Physique
I found that there was a little gap between the hands. You could wear bracelets to hide it or what I did was use the next smallest size slink hand which was XS. The feet don’t fit perfectly but it’s close enough and in the right wind light it doesn’t matter.

I suggest Avatar Opt 2 as a windlight because it’s pretty bright even on low graphic computers. I would also suggest enabling basic shaders and atmospheric shaders if you can.

The neck was a bit of a problem area for me but something that did help was going into edit my shape on the chin tab and I played with the chin depth and jaw angle and that helped quite a bit. Another thing that helps is good wind lighting and bumping up your graphics a little.

Thoughts
I like this body a lot, even better than the WowMeh. I can see myself using this one for more than just photos. I like the knees a lot and how when you sit you don’t have all that jagged weirdness on system bodies. I like that even though it’s mesh it’s fitted mesh and you can give yourself a little extra love in places that you were not able to before.

I don’t know if this is a possible thing but I think fitted mesh hands and feet should be the next thing to come along to go with the body. You start to feel like a bit Frankenstein after awhile with all of these mesh parts but this is the closest that I’ve come to having everything I’ve wanted in one item.

Sure, there are things that I’d like to see slightly improved but it’s pretty damn close to being perfect.

The HUD
The HUD is a bit too small on my screen. It’s hard to see the smaller buttons at the top on my Firestorm Viewer. One thing that you should take note of is on the alphas there is a sort of sheath to add a neck layer or hide it. I saved myself a lot of frustration unchecking this.

When I figured out how to do that I was happy. It worked best for me to hide it. The have a FAQ right here: http://docs.slinkstyle.com/physique/customer/ I imagine and hope that it will have more information as well as photos time goes on.

One thing that I would love changed about the HUD is that lets imagine when you are wearing shorts. Say the shorts are a bit lower in the front than they are in the back. It would be nice if you could hide something in the front that you can’t hide in the back.. or vice versa cause otherwise you might have to wear different shorts depending on the top that you are wearing.

The alpha HUD hides most parts but I would love to see that as an update one day. I think that you will be able to wear many basic things but you wont be able to wear say racer-backs and stuff with stranger parts that need to be alpha’d away. But with the fitted mesh dress that came with it in the pack it was perfect.

In closing, I’m super excited about this and what it will bring as far as new content creation. I feel like it’s going be something that will tie everything else in together and once it catches on it will be a must have and at 1250L it’s really a steal. I’m very impressed!

Pink Fuel Group Gifts, Pixicat @ the Arcade and New Truth Hair!

First, lets talk about this generous group gift from Pink Fuel. Now, I did have to pay 500L to join the group buuuuut it’s a beautiful skin and worth at least four times over that.

It comes with all kinds of layers, and appliers for the Slink Mesh Hands and Feet. It’s from the Harley line but it’s in a new tone called Crystal. I think other appliers in the future will be for a fee but, seriously steal this skin!

I also managed to take a few fun photos with the new Birdie hair from Truth and some kimono’s and the rare fan, dragon and hat from Pixicat at the Arcade.. that just opened up today! These shoes are also from Ingenue and you can win them too at the Arcade!

Cae for Seraphim Social

I am also wearing the newer Slink Visage mesh head.

I wanted to try it out with the skin appliers by Glam Affair and I did so today. One thing you should do is look at the note card that comes with the head. This will help you fit the head to your body best.

I like the expressions on the hud. I played around with them quite a bit. It will be nice to see more heads in the future. Even though I like this head I can still see things that I think would make it better for me.

I would like more of a variety with head shapes, noses, and eyes. I still like my own face better but photographically speaking this was fun to work with. I will say again that I love the variety of expressions and eyelids that close nicely.

Slink, & Cae’s Bali Bead Anklet Gacha @ Shoetopia

Hello! I have some pretty shoes and feet to show you. Siddean Munro has made a brand new Slink foot with an even higher base for even higher heels. This is win! But before I talk more about that check out the ankle that I’m wearing on these brand new feet.

Caelan Hancroft of Cae has made some cute little Gacha anklets that can be moved and shift around to fit almost any foot. These are super detailed and very cute! There are several to win and the one that I am showing is a rare.

Siddean Munro of Slink has four new releases waiting for you on Friday when Shoetopia opens (on sim number one) There are two new pairs of heels, one pair of boots and the new foot base. I look forward to seeing more shoes with this base! My feet feel so spoiled today!

Shoetopia: Your Shoe Heaven in the Clouds

In a few day’s Shoetopia will be open access for all.

I wanted to take a few photos of the build and share them. There are two sims and they are in a large circle with two offsets on each sim for the gacha machines, the sponsors in the middle and all the other stores around the circle. I like the layout and design of Shoetopia and it was easy to get around which is important in a fair in Second Life.
