Uber is still going on about half way into it’s Boho round. I wanted to show this photo that I took of the pretty little bedroom set that Cheeky Pea made for this round. It comes with a bed, curtains, rugs, a dresser, pictures for your wall and a starfish with wine Decoration.
The skybox that I used to set this furniture set up is the new Eli Bailey skybox at the Men’s Dept.
Uber’s Opulence round will be closing soon, so I wanted to do a post with this furniture set from Cheeky Pea. I love the bright colors here, it’s a pretty set. However, get to Uber quick so that you can pick it up!
I’m also wearing hair from Olive from the Seasons Story, the Maitreya mesh body, and this tattoo is from Letis and I used the Omega Hud to get it to appear on my mesh body. My pose is from Flowey. This building is from Scarlet Creative and is now at Collabor88.
Happy Halloween! Pretty much everything in this post is from the newest macabre round of Uber.
The couch, pillows, trunk, flowers and skull are from Aria. The candles in the background are from Cheeky Pea, the heart hanging above the candles is from Consignment/Floorplan. My outfit is from Foxes and my hair is from Wasabi Pills. All that you can find at Uber.
The rug is from Apple Fall, the curtains are from Anc, my boots are from Reign and the skybox is from Trompe Loeil at Collabor88.
Yesterday it became official! We were on trial with two adorable little girls Juliana and Melanie and our trial came to an end and I think they are the most adorable, and amazing kiddos ever. So fun and interactive and I’m so happy to welcome them home.
Last week we started decorating their room. I gathered the girls up to the platform and put out a bunch of things and they made of pile of some of the stuff that they wanted and then I took the pile of saved stuff and rezzed in the house and we started moving it all around and of course they added stuff and I’m so happy with their room!
Sometimes its a bit tricky getting all the things that you want to work together in a room and furniture for kids in Second life can be a bit tricky. The Penelope beds from Mudhoney “wowwed” me at first sight and the canopy over the beds is something that my god bebe did and I fell in love with and used it for their room. Mudhoney also made these pretty ruffled curtains.
The canopy is from an older garden party set from Cheeky Pea with Pilot. I’m not certain on where it is now but its from one of those stores.
Lark has many cute things also for a child room. Some of the panda stuff, the mobiles, some of the books and the cupcakes. Apple Fall has many little odds and ends like the frames on the wall, the dream sign, the little doll house and the dress form.
I would also try Half Deer for the pandas in the corner and Floorplan little lights, books on the floor and things. Mishmish is another favorite of mine too – the peacocks, and fairy and so many cute things.
Their room is one of my favorites in the house. I’m still decorating but I hope to post more soon!
The neat thing about the chairs and couch is that you can tint them any color your heart desires, there is even a card letting you know how! I like this furniture a lot and it also has really cute sits and comes in either pg or adult. If you don’t know what the Home Show is you can check out the blog here: http://homeshowsl.wordpress.com/
Aren’t they cute? Posing in front of this What Next Ice cream cart is my God Daughter Evie and her brother Alex. I saw them in their outfits and immediately thought of this ice cream cart and I had to snap a pic. They are the cutest!
The Liaison Collaborative -Sandbridge, opened this last weekend and I found it to be one of my favorite rounds yet. I loved and bought many of the garden items (I have my eye on that pool from the loft but I don’t know where to put it) but seriously.. designers? You did a great job this round and I appreciate you! You have until July 10th to check this out, here is your taxi ride: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The%20Nest/192/197/22
I found a miniature bounty of goods this morning when I was poking around The Nest
I wanted some cute, but cheap Easter decorations and I stumbled on to a small collection of goodness. I have not finished but I collected the What Next Easter Eggs, the Mister Whiskers Tea Set from Cheeky Pea and some odds and ends that will come in handy from Zigana. I love these little things that add a touch of realness to my SL Home. Guess what, though with the exception of the Draw Shelves I have shown, this stuff was free and there are many more things out for you to grab too!
This is a list of the participants:
End of Daze
A friend of mine, KateMarie Westminster has opened a new store on the marketplace for her store Westminster Family Homes in hopes of making many homes in SL especially for families. Her builds are low in prim, this is a five bedroom home with only 225 prims and it partially mesh for only 555L on promo. It’s a steal!
I decorated it a bit and used furniture that you can get from Lisp, Apple Fall, Cheeky Pea, Pilot, the Loft and What Next. It is very cute and I know that she has another really cute house coming out soon.
