It’s been about a week now since Mesh Body Addicts Fair has opened and you still have plenty of time (and less lag now) to go check out some great finds for your mesh body and parts.
This Bento head is new from Genesis and it’s not a permanent look but I thought it would be fun to play around with the head and try to make a look out of t. I’m also wearing these pixie ears from Swallow, and they again, are not my normal style but I really like the tattoo options on them.

It’s Monday, and tomorrow is Valentines Day – do you have any plans or a special Valentine? Maybe this flowery and sheer lingerie from Erratic can be something special that you’ll wear.
Collabor88 is covered in flowers this month, Anc made these pretty white roses that are blooming all around me. I’m also wearing hair from Little Bones that is also at Collabor88 called Free.
I will be honest here, I almost gave up on Simone. It just wasn’t feeling like “Sylvia”, you know?
One of the things that has changed since the coming of these new bento heads are the old school shape makers that have come back to give shape making a new life. To be completely honest I looked on the Marketplace quite a bit to find shapes that I could mod that felt close to who I see my avatar to be.
Two shops that became my favorites are here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/186667 and here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/94671 I tried many but they just had the right combination of sliders and price for me. So once I had a shape I was good to go, it was time to modify it. I must have modified it like ten different times to make it the way I wanted. But I feel that these shapes worked as an excellent base for me.
I like Simone, I do but there were things that didn’t work for me. The eyes wont calm down until I figured out that you had to center them on the hud. I still can’t figure out how to change my brows, and while the expressions are great I do feel that they could be differently organized. There are several limitations on the sliders that are not on the Catwa Bento head. I couldn’t get my eyes tilted quite the way I wanted. There were just little things that bugged me but overall I do like the makeup buttons quite a bit. I feel that I was able to modify a very unique face.
The biggest part of getting these heads to look right is the skin. The Glam Affair skin at Uber was quite perfect for me. Lucrezia, is the name. There are a ton of cute eyelashes and brows too. One thing that I love about Bento heads is you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to fit your brows how you want them. They are automatic now and I love it.
I’m curious to see if stores will release other versions of bento heads and with bento Second Life seems so much more open to possibility.
I just had a to take a photo of this beautiful gown with matching fur jacket from Just Because! The Christine Gown is now available at the Just Because mainstore! The fatpack has some really pretty colors to choose from and if you need a gown to wear to an upcoming holiday party, this would be a great choice!
