Arcade which closes very soon on the 30th, N21 just opened so you still have a bit more time and of course Summerfest which you have just until July 12th. I got a bad desire..

I didn’t go typical sports photo with this bench and hockey lamp from Junk. which is at the Men’s Dept. right now (this set also includes some vintage sports photos) for the March round.

I kinda gave it my own spin. I imagine that stars are being collected from the background of the night sky and saved in these little jars which were a New Years group gift from Vespertine.

Collabor88 also started today and Tableau Vivant is offering up this fabulous hair which I will get a ton of use from. These shoes, which I really love are from Candy Doll. – also at Collabor88 this March round.

My tattoo is from Bolson’s main store and my skin as usual is from Glam Affair. My pose is from Flowey.

Homespun Holiday

I went a little crazy between Arcade shopping and decorating for the holidays. There was an adorable skybox from Llorisen for 100L per play and I couldn’t resist making a little home away from home!

I’m very partial to the store Junk. Not only because I work for them but because I really love the look of their items and I adore their Living room set.

The junk. in my attic

My favorite part of Collabor88 this round is all of the furniture and the homes. I’m using this little skybox from Vespertine. I like the stars on the ceiling and I have a few nicknack type things which are also from Vespertine on this cabinet from junk.

junk. also made the couch (which comes in two colors) and the two lamps in the photo. The picture on the wall is from Half Deer.

.junk’s Hunt Skybox at Fameshed

.junk has a brand new skybox at Fameshed and it’s a first for .junk to make a skybox. The skybox itself is around 20LI and it has a little perch over the main area that I could put a little bedroom over.

I decorated the skybox with just stuff that I had in my inventory.

Some of my favorite places to shop for furniture (that are featured in this skybox) are .junk (of course), mudhoney, alouette, vespertine, apple fall, floorplan, oyasumi, the loft, pilot, aria, second spaces, what next – and that makes up just a handful of the stores out there that make amazing mesh pieces.

Tres Blah for the July Round of Collabor88

Hey! I just wanted to do a quick post to show of this really cute outfit from Tres Blah at Collabor88. The shirt, the shorts and the boots are all a new offering from Tres Blah. The hair is from Spellbound who is guesting at Collabor88 this month.

The pose is from Flowey and I’m standing inside a brand new house from Vespertine at the Seasons Story – which opened today.

oOoStudio’s Rise for Fifty Linden Friday

Hi there! It’s Fifty Linden Friday time again and I wanted to highlight a pose from oOoStudio’s that I was asked to shoot a vendor ad for. I actually took two versions of this shot and this was the alternate version so I decided to blog it. It’s only 50L for the next 24 hours or so and worth every penny.

I set up the scene with this bed from Scarlet Creative along with this skybox/home from Scarlet Creative and I used a few things from Floorplan, Alouette, Zigana, and Vespertine’s items for the Men’s Department.

I am wearing hair from Magica, lingerie from Baiastice, skin from the Shops, glasses from Glam Affair and shoes from Gos Boutique. My malt’s boxers are from Valiant as well as his skin and Case’s hair is from Ink which is at the Men’s Department.

It’s a home and it’s ours

This month with Collabor88 having a big birthday round I saw this house from Barnesworth Anubis and knew that it had to be our new home. I’m not completely done with the outside or the inside but tonight I took some pretty photos of what I’ve put out so far. The green house that you see is from Vespertine (also at Collabor88) and all of the veggies and flowers are from DDD which has amazing plants and veggies and things for very low prims – I love buying their mesh fruits and veggies for my garden!

The alien playset that you see is from Lark and is adorable (and low in prim for all you get) and you can get that at Liaison Collaborative along with some really other cool things this round! Very fun stuff! If I didn’t mention anything – feel free to comment and ask and I’ll tell you where its from.

Crafty Sunday Afternoon’s spell L-O-V-E!

It was a typical Sunday and Ryleigh and I were looking for something to do. I had seen something on SLPinteresting – on one of the boards of arts and crafts that you can do with your child and I thought that it would be fun to try, plus we both love the excuse to get out the paint. This was not a thing to do indoors so we went into the greenhouse – which is new from Vespertine at Collabor88.

I put out some old newspapers, and she watched me sitting on the table wondering what I was planning giggling when I used the paint brush to paint my hand! She watched as I first painted the Letter L and she is very smart so she recognized the letter right away. After I did that I put my hand down on to the red paper. She sounded out the L and smiled when I told her that she got it right and then I picked her up and put her in the chair.

I said give me those piggies! She laved and shook her head no but smiled really big when I explained that I was going to paint her feet! I told her that we were going to spelling out the word love with my hand as the O and her feet to make the V and she wiggled her toes and giggled and as I painted her feet, it was pretty ticklish!

I picked her up as not to get the paint everywhere and helped her step on to the paper to make her foot prints form a V holding her hands up to give her balance. She pressed her feet on the paper and made a perfect V! I painted the E in after that and we stepped back for a moment to look at our work.

The craft had turned out adorable and we decided to find a place for it in the house. But first we wanted a snapshot of ourselves – to show off our little project! After the paint dries we will find a place for it in our new home!

Under the stars

Every so often a skybox will inspire me to make a little hide-away from the world. Vespertine made just that skybox for Fifty Linden Friday and I put a bunch of my favorite things in it and made a cozy little spot for snuggles.

I used furniture from LAQ, The Loft, Trompe Loeli, Alouette, Fri.day, Apple Fall, Zigana, Floorplan, Lisp, Dutchie, and Bazar. These are some of my favorite furniture places to shop in SL. If you wanna know where something is from – ask me! I love comments 😛
