Hello! I have some pretty shoes and feet to show you. Siddean Munro has made a brand new Slink foot with an even higher base for even higher heels. This is win! But before I talk more about that check out the ankle that I’m wearing on these brand new feet.
Caelan Hancroft of Cae has made some cute little Gacha anklets that can be moved and shift around to fit almost any foot. These are super detailed and very cute! There are several to win and the one that I am showing is a rare.

My friend Cae came over during region restarts the other day and she had some wine, tea and cupcakes with me which is a part of this set. I had it all set up and she just came over and sat down and I always have the best conversations with her. Ok, from the first moment that I saw this challenge my friend Cae first came to mind. She is someone that I make it a point every day to say hi too because we are long past that awkward stage of omg.. should I or shouldn’t I IM this person? I just feel so comfortable with Cae, I can tell her anything and not be judged for it. She is one of my constants here.
She is a very kind and accepting person and I just always have felt really comfy with her which is a treasure in it self. Not only is she a brilliant creator of mesh jewelry at her store Cae she is also a blogger and a fabulous SL photographer all around this girl is fantastic and not only does she do all that she manages Gos/Gos Boutique and has contributed so many skins to the Skin Directory for the fantastic Gos Boutique shoes we all love.
She is an all around great person and friend to me and she goes out of her way for people on many occasions. There are many things that I admire about Caelan that I cannot put into words and tomorrow, July the 3rd is her birthday so this makes the “Meet My Friend Challenge” from Strawberry Singh even more extra special.

How long have you been in SL?
– It’ll be six years in December
What would you consider your style of clothing in SL?
– Simple and casual. I used to love dressing up but I haven’t done it in so long it takes me forever!
One item in SL that you could never do without?
– Just one? You’re going to laugh because this is a “me” answer, but I am in love with the inventory boxes I use for storing stuff. Boring, but it keeps me (and my junk) organized.
What do you do in SL?
– Aside from stand on a platform? I create mesh jewelry for my store, manage Gos Boutique, and do the occasional picture or blog post.
What is the craziest thing that you’ve ever done in SL?
– I haven’t really done anything crazy, but at times, I think the craziest thing was to stay.
Did you wear bling back in the day?
– I’m sure I did, but I don’t remember exactly. I probably repressed that memory. I definitely was guilty of wearing full-bright jewelry and clicky shoes.
Do you have a most regrettable SL fashion choice?
– There have been quite a few of them. Most have involved a fluffy ball gown or a review copy that I felt obligated to blog.
What do you think is the best part about SL?
– People here are so freaking creative! We all kind of take it for granted, but everything from the chair you’re sitting on, the shoes you’re walking in, your hair and skin… they’re all the product of someone’s creativity. This place hinges on that and it’s always amazed me.
What are five stores in SL that you’d recommend to a new player?
– Am I allowed to shamelessly plug my own store as one of the five? I kid. Narrowing it down to just five is really hard, but I would try to give a new person places to create a great av: Truth, Belleza, Maitreya, ColdLogic, and Gos.
If you had one piece of advice to offer a new player what would you say to them?
– Keep things fun and don’t get drawn into other people’s drama. We’re all guilty of it, but there’s nothing that sucks the fun out of this place more than that.
What was your first impression about me?
– My first impression of you was as a SLuicide Girl which prolly makes for a rather interesting first impression lol. I just remember thinking that you wrote really well and seemed like an interesting person. I didn’t meet you for real until a couple months after that, but I’m really happy that I did.

I wanted to extend a big happy birthday wish to one of my favorite events on the grid – Fameshed! Yesterday they opened Fameshed up in the sky back in its old tents with around 60 fabulous designers! So if you have not gotten over yet you have just under a month to do it!
I found many cute things, and this dress from Zaara stuck out to me and I had to buy it and this cute hair from Wasabi Pills was close to the Zaara display so I snagged that too. The jewelry that I am wearing is a brand new set from Cae which is also at Fameshed called “Alchemy” and I will give you a closer shot of it below.
I love this new set from Cae, because it has several different gems to choose from as well as a couple of different metals and its all very much customizable and so pretty!
I am also wearing flip flops and bare feet from Gos Boutique. My skin is from Glam Affair and my poses are from Adorkable.

Where was the first place you made friends as a newb and got to know people in Second Life? It took me awhile to find my place in SL, the first place I really went to check out was a sex club called Sumo’s lol. When I joined SL I was really curious about how people had sex here and thought it would be more like the Sims. Then a few months later I found the Dakota Estates Park.. where they did trivia and parties, I also had my first job there and it was pretty much a PG place and it really helped show me how cool SL can be.
Where do you spend most of your SL time now? Bella Paradiso in my skybox.
Who is your closest friend in Second Life? (only pick one) I can’t pick one.
What is the most favorite thing in your inventory? (only pick one) Hard to pick one thing but I love the Jewelry that my dear friend Caelan Hancroft makes, and my animal spice rack from the first arcade gacha.
The last thing you purchased in Second Life? The Ikon eyes that I’m wearing from the Liaison Collaborative.
What color clothing does your avatar wear most often? Black, white or pink.
Do you prefer to walk, run or fly? I usually walk.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done in SL? When I was a noob, and I do mean noob I was a “pet” to a lesbian vampire and her submissive. It was interesting and really strange. Oh, and about three years ago I Co-owned a small D/s club.

For starting this Seven SL Facts Meme. I’m gonna give it a go but first I wanted to say that I’m loving this jewelry set by Caelan Hancroft called Sakura that will debut at the Liaison Collaborative tomorrow along with some other really gorgeous items, that you can see if you follow that link and look at the growing flickr pool.
Ok, facts.
1. Sylvia is my third try at Second Life. It’s true. I first tried Second Life in 2005 under “Anais Vox” but the account was deleted because back then you had to pay ten dollars a month and I only signed up for a quick trial. I never tried to get it back. The second time was an avatar born just two days before Sylvia but I didn’t like her name so Sylvia became my main.
2. I’ve been partnered a few to many times in SL, most of it was friendship and fun though. It’s important not to take yourself too seriously here. I met a few ladies who I would consider to be some of my best real life friends now, who knew?
Yeah I’m looking at you Marls, Uglee, Kate and Cae. Sometimes I might not have seen eye to eye with you, but you four have saved me all in different ways and I love you.
3. My inventory is totally unorganized and its just below 100k. I’m super sentimental and keep a lot of things. If SL had a hoarders show I’d probably be on it.
4. I believe in SL families. Not many people know this but I have a child avatar that I’ve played for 3 years and she has a Mom and Dad. It’s funny how Second Life brings people together and gives you a chance sometimes to have what you can’t really have in RL. My SL Mom and Dad, though sparse the last year or so still mean a lot to me. My SL mom is listed in my RL Facebook profile as my RL mom and My SL Dad means a lot to me because I never had one. My childhood was less than stellar without going into it and SL Family gave a piece of that back to me.
5. Even though I want to make more friends here, I’m really shy even in a virtual world. Sometimes, before I even open my mouth – I automatically assume that people are not going to like me and I wish I could just get over that. It’s hard for me to start conversations, but I do enjoy them.
6. I love my Job at Gos Boutique and Gos in general. I’ve only been there a little over a month and I like helping people out when I can as it forces me to be social. I like the sense of purpose it gives me and I love the shoes, and Gos is pretty nice to work for too.
7. I like Plurk. I know that we all have our ups and downs but in generally plurk is how I learn about things that are going on in SL and connect with people. It has greatly enhanced my SL and has made friends for me and has helped me get to know people and break out of my shell a little by talking to people I might not have spoken to before.

So a few days ago, as I’m sure most of you know.. on March first several events took off around the grid.. and yeah my Linden balance is hit! But, I have some pretty things to show for it!
First, Fameshed is back with a new round and my lovely Caelan Hancroft of Cae was in it this month and she made this gorgeous necklace and jewelry set called Bejeweled. The set is full mesh and the gems are to die for. She did such a wonderful job on this set that you must run right out and get it! No really, stop reading this already and get to Fameshed! Below: I did a closer crop of the necklace.
I’m only showing it with the Emerald gems and gold metal but it changes to three different metals and several different gemstones. It’s a steal, its like getting a fat pack of necklaces for really cheap!
I also have been spending all of my time pretty much at the Arcade or at least trying to get in and this beautiful skin by Pink Fuel in “Ghost” was only 100L and I think I got it on my third try or so, and it was the one I wanted. The hair is from Truth and its the “Video Games” hair also for 100L in Light Ginger Rare. Super excited about the Arcade and Arcade items, there will be more posts about that. The shoes that I’m wearing in this post are called The Marilyn Sandals and they come in Red Patent, Turquoise, Cream, Fuchsia, Plum Patent, Black Patent and Burgundy (shown). They are one of the most beautiful pairs of shoes that I’ve ever seen introduced to Second Life.. The others will have to be the other shoes in the new Gos Boutique Collection 😛
For me what makes these shoes so special is that you can save up to five presets and change them out if you need to for any of the skins that you wear and you only need to match them up once because they have this huge database of skins and if you can’t find your skin in there for some reason on the website then you can request to have it added. I used to spend hours trying to match skin tones and it was a completely frustrating experience that even turned me off of shoes for awhile. I like to have pretty feet in SL and well with these it is now effortless.
These shoes are brilliant and if you want to be one of the first to buy them then you should look up the Gos Boutique group in world and then you will know when you can, I do know that it is supposed to be some time tomorrow though.
