So I wanted to do a little furniture post because there are some cute and fun finds that are new to Collabo88 this round for the 1950’s inspired “Milkshakes and Turntables.”

For these photos I used poodles from MishMish along with little odds and ends from Floorplan and of course the fabulously retro dining set from the Loft make up the pictures in this post and I used a few of the MishMish Arcade items that I won from the last round to add a little fun. The house that I have set this all up in is from Scarlet Creative which is also at Collabor88 this round.

HavenHollow

I went to HavenHollow yesterday and looked around a bit and snapped a few pics but – but really it’s better to see it in person. The Holiday Appreciation Association took an entire sim and transformed it into a neat and interactive (family friendly) Trick or Treating place for everyone!

When you first rez you are in a little town and there are houses and you can go up to the doors and knock.. sometimes you will get candy, sometimes you will get a trick and sometimes nothing! But as you make your way back past the park you will see an opening into the woods.. and travel into the woods only if you are brave and make sure you take a flashlight from that nice Police man!

Honestly – I’m 37 years old and I loved it. It reminded me of trick or treating when I was a kid and it brought back happy memories. I would definitely take my SL Kids to this.

The Easter Egg Hunt at the Nest!

I found a miniature bounty of goods this morning when I was poking around The Nest

I wanted some cute, but cheap Easter decorations and I stumbled on to a small collection of goodness. I have not finished but I collected the What Next Easter Eggs, the Mister Whiskers Tea Set from Cheeky Pea and some odds and ends that will come in handy from Zigana. I love these little things that add a touch of realness to my SL Home. Guess what, though with the exception of the Draw Shelves I have shown, this stuff was free and there are many more things out for you to grab too!

The Festival of Sin opened yesterday and the main thing that I cared about was getting my primmy little fingers on these fabulous pink Triumph boots by Gos. They are mesh, come with a hud and I love them. You need to go demo them, you need to get the fat pack because I should have and I didn’t. After I bought one pair trying to be fiscally responsible I went back and bought two more and I have my eye on the beige color. Sighs. They really are worth it though.

This beautiful Tattoo you can also get at the Festival of Sin. It is a Koi tattoo from Essential Soul and one of the nicest tattoo’s I’ve ever seen in SL. All three poses in this post are from Adorable form the Touch Me set now available at the Festival of Sin.

I am wearing new threads from Kianna Noel of Addict which is also at the festival. I love this body suit and pants and even the sexy spiked mesh cut. She really out did herself on the festival items making this my favorite look so far. This outfit is fun, youthful and full of playfulness.

This beautiful Mesh Hair from Truth Hawks has won over my heart. It is adorable and fits so nicely as if it were made for my head. I love the flexi attachment of tendrils that make the mesh hair not as stiff. This hair is not at the festival but it is brand new and gorgeous.
