The roses in my background can be found at this month’s Collabor88 and this hair is the January group gift from Truth. If you haven’t already joined the Truth group in world – what are you waiting for? You pay a small fee and you get a brand new fatpack of hair every month!
A brand new event will be opening tomorrow and I’m pretty excited to be a blogger for it, as I’ve seen some cool things that are being brought into SL at the moment.
Thereafter is a Second Life theater, music and sales event celebrating humanity and society in a post-apocalyptic world. Join us as some of SL’s most cherished content creators contribute exclusive items that provide the backdrop and costuming for live theater events set in a post-apocalyptic, Shakespearean environment. Highly regarded live musicians and DJs are scheduled to honor the favored and familiar sounds of a post-apocalyptic world.
When I first saw this fishbowl head from Disorderly & Cureless it became my new favorite thing so far this round. I also really like the simplicity of this t-shirt dress from Paper Arrow. Veechi, as ever makes beautiful make ups and Entwined is killing it with their hairstyles.
I’m going to link below the flickr group because the the guide is complete yet but you can catch some previews of more Epiphany stuff there!
When mesh heads first came out I wasn’t super interested in wearing them full time, but since then as mesh heads have gotten more beautiful – I’ve changed my mind. In my opinion the best mesh heads right now in Second Life come from Catwa Clip of Catwa.
The head that I am wearing in these photos is a newer head (but not the newest) called Tumble. The fatpack of the heads are worth having because the animations are endless with them. I took a few photos of me making some silly faces but to really get the point – if you haven’t yet you should go on over to Catwa and try them out! You can do so here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Catwa%20Clip/144/114/24
On this head there are so many different skins and skin appliers. For example I love the eyeliners from Veechi, and the eyelashes, eyes, brows and freckles from Buzzeri. I’m wearing a brand new Glam Affair skin applier called Aurelia but the lips are from Deetalez. I love to mix and match the appliers and make it into something unique for me. If you are worried about looking the same it’s impossible as there are so many skins and appliers out there to get lost in and find a look that is truly you!
As far as what else I am wearing – Collabor88 has some fantastic finds this month. The bra and panties are called the Dita Ensemble and they are made by the Secret Store. The hair is from Little Bones and the Rose Choker and Rose crown is from Yummy. My poses are from Glamrus.
