Fashion Voodoo, baby…

Yesterday, Fashion Voodoo put on by Depraved Nation opened. I went, walked around a bit, lagged a bit and tried to see what I could find to blog. As I was walking around be careful of the bridges as I fell in the water.. but my SL grace and balance is just as bad as my RL grace and balance.. I had to tp to someone to get out of the pit! But if you are wondering what exactly Fashion Voodoo is.. I found it on the blog.

For my Voodoo look I am wearing the Haitian Collier set from VAUGHANS, The Voodoo edition of Betty from Belleza, and a long flowy skirt and tight little top from the Plastik all available at the event. The table with the neato Voodoo stuff is also from VAUGHANS at the Fashion Voodoo event.

I am wearing one of the newest hairs from Truth called Soliel and poses from Bent.

The Festival of Sin is coming to town…

I am a very lucky blogger indeed. I managed to sneak in to preview the Festival of Sin which is starting on February 18th and going on until March 3rd. I can’t begin to tell you all of the exciting things I saw but wanted to instead to do a post to feature some of the AMAZING ITEMS!

Marleen Vaughan of Vaughans House of Curiosities made this Sloth room complete with air fresheners for the ceiling for those not so fresh day’s when you have dead bodies just laying around or you don’t feel like bathing. She also has this box thing here with a bucket of Vomit or Feces – I’m not sure so you don’t have to get up and leave your room. It has two poses and the Sloth room is amazingly put together and is one of my favorite items so far.

I am wearing panties that come from Cynful (Lust). Heels that are from Ingenue (Wrath), the necklace is from Carolines (Sloth), The hair is from Amacci. The beautiful skin is from Aura.. I love the slutty lipstick smudged mouth.. and the chains that come with the pose are from Captive Poses. Everything in the photos is a bit of the Festival except for the Hospital set from Fashionably Dead at this months Collabor88.

The Festival of Sin looks to be kick ass and I will have a bunch more posts about the event. I am super excited to get my sin on.

In Love with a Strict Machine

Marls hates it when I praise her.. but guess how many fucks I give? None.

The newest piece at Vaughans House of Curiosities is brilliant. It in fact inspired my look today. The Automatic viewing lens which is fixed over my eye can be yours for the mere price of 76L!! I’m not really into the steampunk stuff but I love the way the gears move around in it and it is just too cool! The rest of what I am wearing is the Giereh which is currently 75L at the Tropicalia Bazaar. A lace body suit from The Whore Mansion. (yes, that is the actual name of the store) and these completely wonderful thigh high mesh boots from Slink. The Earring, Well I meant to have both on but I sorta look like a pirate now so I’ll keep it.. its from MOOD – it’s the Witches Wonder earring currently in the Witch Hunt for 10L.

A perfectly padded cell.. with a shiner.

It started with this shiner that I have on my face. My lovely Marls of Vaughan’s House of Curiosities.. made this yesterday and will be releasing it soon and I love it. Marls made the Shiner as a tattoo layer and it even comes with hemorrhage attachments.. My first time ever with a black eye in SL! I want to start an all girls fight club now.

The padded cell was only 10L and from Adorkable as part of the Platinum Hunt which starts today. Every since I first saw the previews of this on plurk.. I’ve wanted it. Who doesn’t want the comfort of a padded cell sometimes?

The idea for this outfit came from shopping with a friend yesterday. She showed me this store LPD.. La Petite Details I believe and I sorta fell in love. The clothing here is so cute! It made me want to play dress up so I did.. I put on this fab. jewelry from Mandala and stalked the Dressing Room this morning and saw this very pale Amelie skin from Glam Affair and paired it with some tights from erratic and some shoes from Pixel Mode.. The Baby T shoes are my staple high heels for most things.

Hat of Curiosities..

If you are a content creator, craftionista, eccentric fashionista or otherwise this hat found only at Vaughans House of Curiosities would sit lovely on top of your head while you plot your next creation, your enemies demise or what to wear to topple over the models at the next fashionista runway show. They wont ever see this coming!

This hat is fetchingly creative and you will feel exciting just by wearing it. For the very daring pair with these goggles also found at Vaughans House of Curiosities.. why? All the better to be fabulous with darlings! Hehe, I’m feeling a bit hyped up on the coffee this morning.. but the point is seriously go check out the shop already!

Vaughans House of Curiosities!

My bestest friend on the entire grid of SL has opened a brand new shop. Vaughan’s House of Curiosities plans to be one of the most random collection of items on the grid with the slogan “Curiosity never killed any cats. I am really looking forward to seeing what else she comes up with and there are many exciting things in the works for this store.

It’s so old school that she’s put her new shop on her first land that she got back in 2005, gosh do you remember first land?

In her own words: “It’s been about 2 years since I have created any content for Second Life. I am super duper excited about my new shop. I’ve named it “VAUGHAN’S house of curiosities” and I am planning on building the most random collection of items on the grid.”

The Rather Unfairground (A slightly villianous RFL Charity Event)

So my talented and gorgeous wifey Miss Marleen Vaughan was asked to make something for the Rather Unfairgrounds Relay for life charity event going on this weekend.. and the theme is slightly villianous, slightly steampunk and she came up with this fantastically creative item which she named “The Sinister Goggles” for something that is a new project in the works called Vaughans house of curiousities. For 123L you can purchase these goggles and 100 percent of your purchase goes towards helping Relay for Life. I need to go and look around the event more but it looks wicked cool..
