The Lake House by Pixel Mode for the Home Show

1pm

I really love this Lake House set from Tya Fallingbridge of Pixel Mode has made a sweet little romantic spot for the lovers out there for The Home Show of SL which is opening tomorrow.

I love all of the little important details of her items and the bed and shower are fun to try as they have hot and realistic animations as well as cute posing sits too. The Lake house comes with a shower and bed and a little bit of extra space for you to fill with your own items too. This is one of my favorite items for the event so I hope that you give it a look tomorrow at the grand opening.

Pixel Mode brings Fae to The Shoe Fair of 2011

Pixel Mode by Shoe Fair Builder Tya Fallingbridge is located on the Ruthenium Sim of the Shoe Fair.

What I love about these shoes is that they are affordable. I believe they were less than 600L per pair. They are sexy, well sculpted, easy to tint and come in a huge variety of colors and a bunch of nail polish options. I also love the crease on the ankles giving it a very nice realistic effect.

I am also wearing Grixdale Long Vintage tank top in dust. The Grixdale Mini Skirt in smog. Hair from Elikatira, Nails from je’suis and skin from Laqroki. The pose that I am using is from Del May and the House and furniture stuff in the background are from Awesome Blossom who has an adorable cottage out for Super Bargain Saturday.

The Fourth Annual Second Life Shoe Fair – 2011

I was one of the 20 lucky bloggers chosen by a draw to attend the The Fourth Annual Second Life Shoe Fair which opens today at 12SLT and runs through May the 27th.

The theme of the Shoe Fair this year is Minimalism and it is perfectly executed by Tya Fallingbridge of Pixel Mode. I experienced little to no lag from the build and was able to walk around fairly quickly looking for the stores of my interest. The stores are compact and easy to navigate and things loaded for me fairly quickly.

The Shoe Fair is also sponsoring a Charity, the same as last year which is the Soles4Souls charity which has a simple concept: “we procure shoes and get them to those in need.” To me shoes are something we put on every day, and perhaps if we have them we take for granted that others might not have them and by supporting this event your donation could mean the world to someone else.

The Shoe Fair is not just limited to shoes this year as you can find other favorite stores that you know and love. If you are looking for a full list of vendors go here for the list.
