Another set of very cute make ups from the newer “Ginny” line from Glam Affair has been released Friday.. to perfectly compliment your Halloween look or to make an interesting POP in a dramatic photo or some of these I’d even wear for every day purposes.
I am also wearing a newer jewelry set from Donna Flora, and hair from Exile and a Hair piece from Pididle which are both available at the Attic at the Deck for 95L each.
I went and checked out the Archie Appeal Event for Gospel Voom’s Beloved cat Archibald. There are many designers showing support with items being sold to benefit Archie’s treatment which will easily get up into five figures.. and if you have ever had a pet that you just loved so much you know that this is a nightmare.
If we could all pull together a little right now for Gos and Archie as a community to support a Pet and Pet Owner that has come to mean so much to the SL community any little bit would help. There are even donation kiosks’s available at the event.
For my post I am wearing.. not much.. because the Entire Gos store on the Truth District sim is half off.. and you if you are going to go naked you may as well be in Gos shoes. The stacked poses that I am using are from oOoStudios and they have several different poses in them and the prop is mesh and very easy to adjust.
I had a lot of fun with these poses. The other designers who are also taking part in this event are: !bang, .emm, *elymode*, A.D.D. Andel, bent!, wetcat, Eclat, Embody, exposeur, Gos, ooo studios, picture this!, Prime, Somnia, and Status. I believe more may be added.
“Starting today and running through Sept 2nd, a fundraising event is being held at the Truth District sim to raise monies for Archibald. “Archie” is the cat of Gospel Voom, creator of Gos. He was hit by a car last Saturday night and miraculously survived and found his way home, but he was in bad shape. He is being treated for his massive head and facial injuries, and as you can imagine, the surgeries and veterinary costs have already been and will continue to be astronomical – into the 5 digits!
Truth District and several talented friends from across the grid have come together in support by volunteering their creations as donations to help pay for these expenses. Most of the items are 100% donation, and the entire Gos store (on the Truth District sim) is 50% off. Anyone that has ever had a pet knows how they are more than just an animal, but are instead a member of the family. If you feel so inclined to help this cause, head on over to Truth District today.”

My post’s are a bit behind this week as I was in the hospital for a few days but if there is one event that needs to be checked out this week and it’s the only one that you can go to.. may I suggest One Voice. It amazes me that the community pulls together in such a beautiful way.
I was moved walking around this event that benefits Miss Gala Phoenix of Curio Skins to help pay for some of the substantial legal fees she is facing in defense of her work her in SL. The organizers who put this together also deserve a huge pat on the back for making this work so seamlessly in such a short time.
“This fundraiser is not only to help Gala Phoenix, but to also take a stand for the community of content creators, for many of whom SL is their main source of income. This could happen to any one of us, and it’s necessary that we stand up and fight back to ensure that it doesn’t.”
