Today is my seventh rez day and every now and then I like to do one of these kind of posts cause I think it’s a good time to give kudos to people that you admire now and then.

So what I’m gonna do in no particular order is list some of the bloggers in SL that I think are really cool, if I don’t mention someone I probably still think you are cool!

Cora Pomilio I love the way that she puts together her photos. I think they look really creative and classy.

Oakley Foxtrot Her pictures are breathtaking, cutting edge and unique. She’s got a freshly dark take on fashion and I like it.

Sophia Harlow There is a lot that I can say about Sophia but I’ve loved her blog for a long, long time and it always remains a classic and a go-to for me. She puts the sacred in fashion.

Maci Restless She’s the little miss fashion cupcake and I kind of adore her. She makes many different kinds of looks and sometimes.. I’m just like whoa.. where did you get that?

Sophee Mojo I love the way she puts her stuff together whether it’s fashion or home decor. She has a very nice style about her and I check up on her blog quite a bit!

Primrose Snowfield Long before I knew her I liked her Second Life name a lot and it fits her blogging style. She is elegant, eclectic, and her photos amazing.

Eve Daines Yep, I had to put a kid blogger on the list. I’m a bit partial to this one as this is my god daughter but if you take a look at her blog and look closely at the photos you will be amazed! She has impeccable decorating and styling for someone so young!

Ziki Quest I love this blogger because she takes excellent shots of Second Life and gives me new ideas of where to go for blog posts and she just does it so well.

Magenta Devinna My beautiful, pink glitterific, super sweet and sexy princess. I’ve kinda always had a little blogger crush on her. I’m not sure what it is but her photos are always super styled and she has a certain magic about her.

and also.. this wouldn’t be a list without mentioning Berry, Luna, Felicity, Grazia, and Gogo.. Your posts, your time that you put into blogging SL, Thank you!

Appreciation – Kendal Sapphire

I’m on trial right now with the most amazing little girl named Ryleigh and she replurked a plurk that caught my eye. It was a challenge started by Edith Ogleby that can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dame-edith/9147631053/

There is a lot of people right now that I appreciate and as I’ve let go of some of the past demons that have haunted me I can see the light of new friendships and connections. One of my new friends that has come to me, well I appreciate her more than she might know.

Kendal is one of those rare and unexpected people that goodness just seems to radiate from. She is an amazing mother to her daughter Evie who is my god daughter and she will be/is an amazing god mother to Ryleigh. When I think about the connection that her and Evie have it just makes me smile. Also every time I see her in world her sense of style is just so pretty. We have plans this summer of dinners, and hanging out and I am feeling really optimistic about everything.

Anyhow, Kendal I think that you are really lovely and for more reasons than I can say I appreciate our friendship. Thank you for being you!

.Happy Homes. Kendal’s Cottage

I had the pleasure of checking out a brand new home from .Happy Homes. The Kendal Cottage is a very cute home for a blossoming family, there are three bedrooms, a bathroom, dining room, kitchen, a secret room, closet space, all windows open and close, the ceiling fans work and the lights work as well. The house is also copy/mod.

It’s very adorable, the floor plan is interesting and the textures are very well thought out. The build is only 161 prims and does contain mesh. If you would like to see the home in world, there is a brand new in world location here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Perfect%20Isle/167/45/2000

My furniture comes from Mudhoney (that living room set is now at Fameshed), What Next, the Loft, Scarlet Apple (the bedroom set is from the Arcade) and Trompe Loeli.

.Happy Homes. The Penelope Cottage

.Happy Homes. a new venture by Amaliscious Destiny or Eve Daines, of La’Licious Designs has released (currently only to the Marketplace but either is able to show homes inworld until they have an in world rezzer for homes) this two bedroom, well three if you count the large attic (which I used as a bedroom) home.

I love this house, it is conservative in prims as it uses sculpts and mesh and weighs in at only 151 prims which.. is amazing to me for all the house you get. The houses features a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Laundry Area, Full Attic, and a Secret room for kids as well as all windows open/close on touch. Lights turn on/off by switches. Ceiling fans all work by touch too.

I think this makes an excellent home for anyone, there is a lot of room to grow too if you have an SL family. The house is also Mod/Copy if you need to change anything, though I wouldn’t. I love the palette of wall colors, they went with just about everything that I had. This home is very impressive and pleasing to the eye of anyone that I’ve shown.

I used many different SL furniture designers to decorate. A few of my favorite places that I have shown in decoration of the house include Ionic, Mudhoney, The Loft, Lisp, What Next, Tiny Spaces, Floor Plan, Apple Fall, Cheeky Pea, Pilot, MMG, ITutu, and North West (but North West is closed) and probably more that I’m not thinking about right now.. but those are only “some” of my favorites. Happy Holidays

My sl life has been filled with joy these last several months. I’ve met some amazing people that I now call my friends and family in Second life and those feelings extend to my Real Life too and while I’ve been a bit busy lately, don’t worry I have not forgot about this blog! This is one of the happiest times in my SL world and family, you know who you are and I love you. Thank you all for being there for me and your constant never-ending support.

In the above photo is my daughter that I adopted at Make a Wish adoption agency, Miss Eve Daines.. my Evie. The pose we are using is from Lovely Smiles, a very nice family pose store in world.

I’ve also picked up some cute props and holiday things from What Next. The egg nog set as well as the rug and pillows with tons of poses are sale items this weekend and the winter bike prop is very cute and has three poses. I got them to add a bit of color to my home. I am wearing the brand new hair from Elikatira. Boots from Haberdashery. Jeans from Connors. Sweater from Kyoot and Necklace from Yummy.
