The Men’s Dept. Lookbook

Hi! It’s July so it means that it’s that time again for the Men’s Dept. This new echo skin from Tableau Vivant for men is absolutely yummy. I also made a side trip to Dura to grab this hair. My eyes are from Dead Apples.

The inspiration of this post title comes from Flowey who made look-book poses for July’s Men’s Dept. It’s important for men to find stylish yet uncomplicated natural poses and Flowey offers that with the newest pose pack.

The outfit that I put together is from Ison, there is a varsity shirt and some cut off shorts and the tattoo is from Reckless. The shoes are from Just Design. You can get all of this at the Men’s Dept.

Ah, the Men’s Dept. opens with a new round and each is more glorious than the last. I found some good stuff there this round as always and wanted to show off some of it.

I like this sweater from Orion and these grey pants from Not so bad. I am wearing Adjunct shoes from the February round as well as the Ink Hair from the February round which if you are looking for I’d check their main stores.

The furniture in this post is from Mudhoney, also available at this round of the Men’s Dept.

Case’s glasses are from S O R G O and his eyes are from Dead Apples.. both of which you can get this round! The Men’s Dept. actually makes me want to play a guy more often, because everything is under 300L at the Men’s Dept. making it super inexpensive to dress up a malt or give your guy a make over!

Neva from Glam Affair at Kustom9 on 10/15

There is a new event that I do not know much about at all but I am featuring the Neva skin from Glam Affair in the Europa tone for Kustom9 which opens tomorrow. You can find out more about Kustom9 here: http://kustom9.tumblr.com/

I’m in love with the Neva skin line so I was super happy to see it and I hope that one day it is expanded on but I have recently just changed to the Europa tone and have been very happy with it. I think the skin is super pretty and I love Glam Affair!

Arcade Gacha Fever

I might have went a little bit crazy at the Arcade Gacha’s June round.. but its like the happiest time of the year in SL when it comes around again to me. I get to make these crazy wishlists for cute and amazing things that make me smile and better yet I get to help people find their cute and amazing things that make them smile.

I love the Arcade Gacha Chat group because I can go in there and say I have two rare something or others and want to trade for other rare something or others and you might have to ask a few times but its one of those times in SL where the spirit of community hits me.. that wow this is really a good place to be sometimes! But I never thought that trading would be half as fun as it is but I love it.

Of course there are the yard sales which can be fun if people keep their items to a normal machine machine price and don’t try to get all crazy high with the rares. Be careful before you buy at them! The one at Pixel Fusion is the best and most organized yard sale in my opinion.

Almost everything in my post is from the Arcade Gacha Event, let me try to list it: My unicorn horns are from Half Deer. My hair is from Wasabi Pills, Lulu Skin from Glam Affair. My eyes are from Dead apples, leg warmers are from Auxiliary. The tent and typewriters are from Floorplan, the robots are from Zigana, the Piglets are from OhMai. The Games are from Second Spaces, the coconut sign is from Flowey, the radio is from Standby, the plushie is from Intrigue Co. The headphones are from Fashionably Dead.. and phew! I think I got everything there.

Someday

I went and checked out the new Spring look to the Izzies Mainstore sim and found it to be just gorgeous. I suggest stopping by to see it, that is where I took these two pictures for my post. I have a few things to remind you about. First is that you should not forget to pick up this gorgeous hair at Collabor88 this round. I love the flowers and the braid and the updo is so cute. It’s from D!va who is a monthly contributor to Collabor88 and I just love her hair.

Now, this dress that is at the Pisces round of Zodiac right now and its from Evie’s closet and I’m in love. I love anything to do with the sea and this dress was made in a beautiful way with the shells that cup the breasts and the floofy skirt. I can imagine being a mermaid bride in this. The poses that I am using are also available at Zodiac from !bang. The dresses this round of Zodiac are brilliant. My skin is from Glam Affair as a collaboration with Dead Apples (where my eyes are from in this post) it’s the Amberly Petal skin in Teary. My feet are from Gos Boutique!

Amberly Petal Collaboration w/ Dead Apples

Yesterday, Glam Affair released a version of Amberly in a really lovely “Petal” Skin tone with some brand new makeups that are from Dead Apples.

This is a joint collaboration between Glam Affair who did the skin and Dead Apples that did the Make ups for the skins, there are 11 makeups in total and they are all really unique and artistic.

I am also wearing one of the Glam Affair Peter Pan collars from this months Fameshed, hair from Truth and Eyes from Dead Apples.
