Things That I enjoyed over the weekend – The Cosmetics Fair

lash

Ah, Cosmetics Fair and new Truth hair how you made me happy!

Glam Affair really out did themselves for this event. Those lips! That eyeliner for Cleo made me an incredibly happy girl! There is a ton of great make up here but that was my favorite. This event runs until the 30th.. and if you need to spruce up your skin this is the perfect place!

Truth also released this Colbie hair this weekend and yes a photo was born. I got the inspiration to do this photo and try to follow some of the tutorials from Strawberry Singh, here: http://strawberrysingh.com/2013/06/15/tutorial-processing-a-headshot/ I will probably watch the video a few times, but isn’t she amazing?

My eyes are the Ascension eyes from Ikon that I picked up at Numberology which just ended but I’m sure Ikon will have this in his store quickly! This newer jewelry set from Mandala rocks my socks too! Have an amazing Monday!

Season for Sundresses

Yesterday ColdLogic released a few new dresses that remind me of summer. I went with the Yellow because I hardly ever choose yellow but I ended up loving it! I put back on this beautiful set from Caelan Hancroft of Cae called Kasbah which is at Fameshed right now. I took a photo of it below to show some of the detail.

The necklace is fully customizable and you can change the metal and both rows of beads. I am using a single pose from Exposeur and I chose it because it shows off these Slink mesh hands, (pose makers please make more poses like this that are flattering to hands – I love to show them off!). I’m also wearing the Mae shoes from Gos Boutique and skin from Glam Affair – Cleo. My hair is new from Truth.

Happy Saturday, all! I wanted to do a photo for this cool thing that is going on started by Editorial Clarity or RicoRacer Flux. I think that this is my second year in a row that I am participating and it means a lot to me. Stand 4 Love is a small thing that you can do to show your support for your fellow friends, loved ones and even strangers, sending the message to them.. “hey love which ever gender makes you the happiest!”

About Stand 4 Love as taken from the official blog:

Each one of us has the right to liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness. Everyone has the right to love and be loved in return. GAY, LESBIAN, STRAIGHT, TRANSGENDERED or BISEXUAL…..Sexual Orientation or Race shouldn’t Matter. The FREEDOM to LOVE is fundamental as the FREEDOM to BREATHE. Two adults should have the right to love without discrimination and intolerance. Marriage should be available to any loving couple. Let’s end hatred and discrimination now. Stand UP and be counted!!!

STAND 4 LOVE is an awareness charity project to promote the visibility and rights of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Straight loving couples to have the right to marry and be recognized by the law across the world. It will be a picture campaign in Second Life to spread awareness and promote equality and tolerance. Glam Affair’s – Cleo Skin in the America Tone

cleo

Glam Affair is by far my favorite skin maker on the grid, and I know that is a very strong statement but – well, they just are. I feel like these skins that Aida Ewing makes just fit me. I’ve had a love affair with them for several years now and as they have evolved they keep getting better and better to me. Sure, I like other skins and I wear them from time to time of course but I always come back to Glam Affair.

This newest skin, Cleo is beautiful. I love the mouth, the nose, the eyes.. and all of the options! This skin has a ton of options along with that you can wear and customize to make it really “you”. It comes with three different noses, three different lip gloss options, three different freckle options, two different eyelash tattoo layers to make your eyes just “pop”. I’ve tried a few of them in the photo below – mixing and matching and well they are subtle differences but its fun to play around with them and find the one most “you”. For the eyebrow lovers, the red brows that I am wearing are option “f”. There are five different colors of brow for you to choose between.

Personally, I like adding all of the freckles on with the regular nose and lip gloss option two. But, if you demo the skin play around.. it’s really a great idea. The skin has twelve different make ups and there really is something for everyone. My favorite ones are the way Glam Affair does the red lips, I also love smokey eyes too on some of them. There are also some make ups that are more bold and fun too.

This skin should be out soon, not exactly sure when but I’d check in the next day or so. You can always join the in world group for Glam Affair to be up on the latest information. To see a different review of the skin, Magenta DeVinna of the blog Not quite pink here: http://www.notquitepink.com/and-along-came-cleo/ did a fantastic job of reviewing it, and in a different tone too!

I am also wearing new hair from Exile (love the new hud), and my sweater is from Erratic and my eyes are from Ikon. My ears are from Mandala.
