Sylvia Skin coming soon to Glam Affair!

The Sylvia skin coming soon to Glam Affair was probably on my list of top ten happiest moments in Second Life.

I realize that it probably sounds dorky but I don’t even care! When I started seeing previews of the teaser for this skin on Plurk and then when I saw an inventory offer from Ms. Aida Ewing herself.. I probably squee’d myself silly. That’s how excited I was.

This skin has a ton of options and I tried to decent pictures of all of them. There are so many different ways that you can wear this skin. There are nose, brow, lip, and cheek options. 24 different lipstick options and 8 different eye make-up options.

The possibilities are seemingly endless! I’ve taken a photo of each lip and eye option:

As you can see.. yes those are quite a few customizations! But there is still more! I took photos of the cheek, brow, lip and nose layers!

Whew.. yes that is a lot but imagine all the looks that you can create! I put a few of my favorites together here:

I’m not sure when the skin is coming to the store, I’m just happy that it exists! I can see this being my new go to skin and not just because it shares my name but because it’s totally customizable and you can mix and match the make-ups and facial options like crazy!

I can’t really pick a favorite aspect of this skin because I love it all. The nose, eyes and lips I feel fit together so well with my shape and like I’ve said I love all of the options.

Glam Affair’s – Cleo Skin in the America Tone

Glam Affair is by far my favorite skin maker on the grid, and I know that is a very strong statement but – well, they just are. I feel like these skins that Aida Ewing makes just fit me. I’ve had a love affair with them for several years now and as they have evolved they keep getting better and better to me. Sure, I like other skins and I wear them from time to time of course but I always come back to Glam Affair.

This newest skin, Cleo is beautiful. I love the mouth, the nose, the eyes.. and all of the options! This skin has a ton of options along with that you can wear and customize to make it really “you”. It comes with three different noses, three different lip gloss options, three different freckle options, two different eyelash tattoo layers to make your eyes just “pop”. I’ve tried a few of them in the photo below – mixing and matching and well they are subtle differences but its fun to play around with them and find the one most “you”. For the eyebrow lovers, the red brows that I am wearing are option “f”. There are five different colors of brow for you to choose between.

Personally, I like adding all of the freckles on with the regular nose and lip gloss option two. But, if you demo the skin play around.. it’s really a great idea. The skin has twelve different make ups and there really is something for everyone. My favorite ones are the way Glam Affair does the red lips, I also love smokey eyes too on some of them. There are also some make ups that are more bold and fun too.

This skin should be out soon, not exactly sure when but I’d check in the next day or so. You can always join the in world group for Glam Affair to be up on the latest information. Glam Affair – Amberly Contest

So I’m not sure if you know but there is a contest going on brought you by Glam Affair and you have until March 15th to submit your head shot of yourself in Amberly for a chance at some amazing prizes. Not only will Miss Aida Ewing take your photo you will be the face of a new skin and have a chance to win one of three linden prizes!

Wanna know the rules?
1) The image(s) must be a new image showing the avatar face close-up wearing the Amberly skin in your favorite tone and makeup.
2) Two images per avatar are allowed to be submitted.
3) The model and the author of the image(s) must be the same person.
4) No special editions (Collabor88, Fameshed, TDR etc.) of Amberly skin are allowed.
5) Morphed images will not be allowed (meaning do not photosource any real life facial features onto your image), in addition, images where the skin features are heavily photo shopped to render the skin unrecognizable overall will be removed from consideration.
6) The image(s) size must be a minimum of 1500h x 900w pixel. Any other sized images will be removed from consideration

Glam Affair – Lilith is here!

This has been a great week for new skin releases. I was delighted to find that Glam Affair had released a brand new skin on Friday.

Lilith is lovely it has the new body like Cassiopea but a face that could pass for the sister of one of my most favorite Glam Affair skins – Leah. I love the eye brows and make up options on this one. This is a skin that I can see myself wearing a lot as I wore Leah a lot.

The make ups range from slightly more daring to every day wear. My favorite feature of this skin is the lips. You can pick up or demo your copy of this beautiful new skin at Glam Affair. I am also wearing hair from Dela for this post.

Jadis 2 is a Glam Affair

Glam Affair is no stranger when it comes to making gorgeously touchable skin.

My first thought when I put on this skin is “striking”. I like the fine attention to detail and the underlining speckled freckles dusting the cheeks as a sweet afterthought. The lips are bold and marvelous and seemingly quite different from the first Jadis. They seem more life like to me and more compelling. I like the different choices of make up too. With each skin Aida Ewing perfects her craft more and more.

Below I have a small sampling of makeup in each tone from the lightest shade to the darkest. It goes Light, Natural, Medium Tan, Tan, and Dark.

I am also wearing brand new hair from Lelutka called “Office”. My dress is by Malt and is called “Ready to Mingle”. All poses are by Glitterati. The skin is of course by Glam Affair in Jadis 2.
