I went to HavenHollow yesterday and looked around a bit and snapped a few pics but – but really it’s better to see it in person. The Holiday Appreciation Association took an entire sim and transformed it into a neat and interactive (family friendly) Trick or Treating place for everyone!

When you first rez you are in a little town and there are houses and you can go up to the doors and knock.. sometimes you will get candy, sometimes you will get a trick and sometimes nothing! But as you make your way back past the park you will see an opening into the woods.. and travel into the woods only if you are brave and make sure you take a flashlight from that nice Police man!

Honestly – I’m 37 years old and I loved it. It reminded me of trick or treating when I was a kid and it brought back happy memories. I would definitely take my SL Kids to this.

More info copied from the flickr page:

Sugar Rush!

Another Candy Fair post update from me today! I am showing this pose from Infiniti poses by Brandi Monroe which has about six different poses to do with yummy gum balls!

Also the head band with apples and little ice-cream cone necklace from Berries Inc. Candy Necklace and Bracelet from Essences and some yummy Rock Candy Nails Shown below from Candy Fair Sponsor – Petite Bowtique.

There are six different packs of mails from Petite Bowtique in a little “salon”. The ones that I’m showing above are the “Rock Candy” set. My favorite are the pink ones!

The store is decorated very cutely and the best part is you can have the same nails as your kid! These nails work on either on the Slink Hands or there is a pack available for kids that use Toddledoo bodies.

My Sweet Candy Fair Kitchen – with Lark and Kuro

Still one more day until Candy Fair opens and I found some very adorable things from Lark to share. All of the desserts in this photo and the candy buckets are from Lark – who is also a Candy Fair Sponsor. These are the cutest Halloween Candy Buckets that I’ve ever seen in Second Life. My favorite has to be the pumpkin!

This Kitchen set is all mesh and adorable too from a store called Kuro. I liked that the kitchen was scaled well and that it came with really cute dishes in candy colors. I chose pink to show cause..well.. Pink!

I’ve liked seeing what people are coming up with and I will show you more awesome things from Candy Fair soon!

Candy Fair is coming to town!

Candy Fair is an event created for the love of Candy & Sugar. We all love candy! So we decided to feature all the sweetness that goes along with it. The Event will take place October 4th -18th 2013

I got a chance to walk around Candy Fair a bit today and gather up some things for my post.

The layout and design was a little bit confusing to me but in order to simplify things I will be posting a list of stores and slurls for easier navigation once Candy fair begins on the Fourth.

If you want a peek at who is participating please check here: http://candyfairsl.blogspot.com/p/about-staff.html

Things from Candy Fair that I am wearing:
Body suit with appliers: Le Forme
Candy Ruler Crown and Candy necklace and bracelet by Sash Arabello with Essences.
Candy Cloud Pose: from WetCat

Things not from Candy Fair:
Hair – Truth
Shoes – Gos Boutique

Cae at Fameshed and ColdLogic

Fameshed has opened today and there are many new things for you to grab. This jewelry set from Cae called Riviera is part of that. All of Cae’s jewelry have a ton of gem textures and they are really pretty and make good statement pieces.

I was at Fameshed this morning and the crowd was not bad at all. Lots of things for fall there, I love it!

The outfit that I am wearing is newer from ColdLogic. I really love the simple, sturdy everyday pieces that they make and everything really is quite well made. I’ve never been disappointed with a mesh purchase from here.

My shoes are the Paris shoes from Gos Boutique. My skin is the Neva skin from Glam Affair at the Liaison Collaborative and this hair is either free or 1L from Faezno on the marketplace.

The Essence of a Time Traveler

Essences has a very cute new build and also some new accessories from Sash Arabello. She is just starting out at Essences and making some cute things.

I am wearing two things from her in this photo. She made the watch that I have clipped on to my sweater and the tattoo on my neck that says “Believe”. Both things are available here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Essences/188/224/24

The sweater that I am wearing is from H.O.F at Collabor88 and the hair is from Laviere.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

You heard somewhere that if you look into a mirror and repeat the word’s “Pumpkin Spice Latte” A girl in Yoga pants will appear and tell you all the things that she loves about fall, right? When I read that – (someone on twitter somewhere said that) I busted out laughing because – it’s kinda true.

Fall makes me crave anything and everything pumpkin. I eventually get tried of it though but for those first few weeks in I’m all about the pumpkin flavored beverages.

If you are curious about actual scientific facts about Autumn Equinox I found this here: http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/climate-weather/stories/autumn-equinox-5-odd-facts-about-fall

What are some things that I love> I love autumn walks with the cool crisp air with a hint of wood smoke lingering. I love anything pumpkin flavored. I love bonfires, apple cider and caramel apples. I love the way the leaves change color and fall to the ground in a rich radiant spread of color. I love gathering those leaves and jumping in a pile. But do you know what my favorite thing is? Fall snuggles! What do you love about fall?

What I’m wearing:

New hair from Magika in Curious
Long over-sized coat from Ison @ Collabor88
Foxy skirt from Auxiliary @ Collabor88

Scarf from Ispachi @ The Liaison Collaborative
Triumph Boots from Gos
Pose from !Bang
Undershirt and Tights from Jane.

La Petite Morte & Sax Shepards Designs for the Fantasy Gacha Carnival

On October the 1st this skin (Quinn) from La Petite Morte along with the Intensity eyes also from La Petite Morte and this Witch Circlet in Wilhelmina from Sax Shepard Designs could be yours!

I just felt like doing a red and black theme to my picture and the green eyes I thought really made it pop good. If you want a sneak peak of the rest of the items they have started added photos to give you an idea of what is coming. http://fantasygacha.wix.com/carnival#!gallery/c1c1m

Fantasy Gacha Carnival

I really like this pose that is from Rack for the Fantasy Gacha Carnival that is coming on October the First. I am also wearing a rare rope harness that is from Haste – that will also be available to play for and win. I think that both of these items are very well done and they would be great for either role play or photography.

I am also wearing hair from EMO-tions, The Phat Azz from L.Inc – which helps in photos believe it or not. Lola Tango Breasts and Mesh Feet from Gos Boutique. I also am wearing the ears from Mandala.

Get ready! The Fantasy Gacha Carnival is coming soon!

Starting October the 1st and running until October the 31st the Fantasy Gacha Carnival is coming around the corner. I had a lot of fun visiting the last one and there is a little something for everyone.

I have always enjoyed the poses from Rack and this Rare “Will Suck for Coins” sign with cuffs and chains is one of the things that you can win from playing the machines. But I will be showing a few more things from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival in the next few days. If you want to know even more check out the blog here: http://fantasygacha.wix.com/carnival

Everything my malt is wearing is from the Men’s Dept. Hair (atro patena), skin (Kleane), collar & belt (Remarkable Oblivion).

I seriously love the Men’s Department for my Malt because you can get just about anything there and even make an entire avatar. Mikel Monk does a great job with that event and if you are a guy who needs a make over or whatever – there is stuff for girls to wear there too – go check it out!
