The Truth District

I know that I said that I would not be blogging much but I could not pass up the opportunity to check out the brand new Truth District which opens tomorrow brought to you by Truth Hawks of Truth hair.

Looking around, Cory Edo the builder did a great job giving it the feel of a sleepy little seaside town. There were many of the stores that I love and easily accessible in the layout as well as being virtually lag free to me as I walked around and took photos and I did switch viewers three times.

Some of the stores will include: AddiCt, Curio, DCNY, Ducknipple, Earthstones, Erratic, Glitterati, GOS, Grixdale, INDI Designs, Je Suis League, Leezu!, MiaMai, MichaMi, Miel, Mudhoney, Nardcotix, NSD, PXL, The Sea Hole, Trompe Loeil Prefabs, Truth Hair, Whippet & Buck

But best of all!!!! Join the Truth District group and then run over there when it opens and grab some nice gifts as well as some new Truth Hair Releases and a free one is all colors for the opening. The opening gifts will be out until July 5th.

Below are some photos that I took. Do be sure to check it out! The sim will open to the public tomorrow at 9 AM SLT. Here is your SLURL: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Truth%20District/128/128/22.

Boys in Corsets are Yummy

I find all different kinds of gender expression to be sexy. I don’t like it when people tell other people that they cannot wear certain things because it is too girly or too boyish. Seriously, fuck that. Wear what you want to wear. I have more respect for people that and challenge us to think outside of the box and see beauty in a new way.

I am dedicating this post to you Gabe Bookmite. I don’t know you as well as I’d like to but from what I can see you are a bright and creative light in this world as well as your partner/husband Garrett Ceriano. Your love is beautiful and that is all anyone really needs in this world. Keep each other safe and cared for as long as you can.

I think that you are both truly special.

Photo Skin is Ashton by Belleza. I’m wearing eyeliner from Boom, Hair from Dura called boy and of course the corset is from Schadenfruede. The pants are from Tableau Viviant. In the second photo I am wearing an outfit from Tableau Viviant as well as some gloves from Rozoregalia. The hair in this photo is the Rain hair from Lelutka. The boots are from Gos because real men can wear heels.

Where the wild roses grow

I’m going on a bit of a hiatus from the blog.

Not sure when I will be back but don’t worry, I will be back. May be soon or may not be, right now I’m not sure. Please don’t send any review copies at the moment as I will not be able to say for sure when they will be blogged.

It’s summertime and RL is screaming for my attention and it’s time to be brave.
I hope that you have a great summer, always feel free to drop me an email @Sylvialovessushi@gmail.com.

HOD and Nuuna

Haus of Darcy or HOD and Nuuna have teamed up with a new piecing/slash makeup collection that is fantastic. There are four new sets in all.

This is the Symphony set which pairs the facial/chest/torso piercings with the tattoo layer makeup dots that are on my forehead. The skin that I am wearing with this is the Golden Rabbit skin from Curio. The choker in the photo is brand new from Mandala.

I am also wearing hair form boon, and eyelashes from Tableau Viviant. My eyes are from Fashism who make some of the best eyes on the grid, you need them.

Lelutka Releases a wonderful collection of Summer!

Over the weekend Lelutka released an exciting new summer collection. The pieces are lovely and of course exquisitely executed. The outfits are casual and there are many strong pieces in this set that you will be able to use with your other clothing. The feel of this is very universal and you can definitely mix and match this seasons pieces and come up with some very unique outfits for yourself.

This outfit above was easily one of my favorites. It’s very casual and Lelutka puts together some of the best textures and prims on the grid. Do be sure to go check it out!

MOOD Travels to Egypt at the Accessories Fair

One of my favorite parts of my Second Life experience is the ability to travel anywhere you’d like virtually. You can also check out the accessories fair here.

When I stepped into the accessories fair I was amazed how beautifully it was put together and very easy to navigate your way around by following the teleport map. Take for instance the set that I am wearing above from MOOD. It is surely an exotic set that speaks of travels far beyond what I’ve ever seen. When you are there please be sure to also check out the RFL items that generous creators are selling to donate proceeds to.

The Daklah ensemble as shown above is lovely and perfectly made. It comes with a hud and many options and you can change the color of the stones and the color of the metal. In this photo I am also wearing the New Turban from Lelutka that is a must have accessory this summer as it is color change.

This other set is the Egiziano Dea Ensemble and it comes with necklace, earrings and some lovely bangles (not shown) I love the look of this set and how every time I am wearing jewelry from MOOD the richness of the textures really stands out and almost looks real. I was not that excited about Second Life jewelry until I found some brands – MOOD being one of them that really won me over. In this photo I am wearing new skin from Laqroki called Mini.

Thought

“I want to see you.

Know your voice.

Recognize you when you
first come ’round the corner.

Sense your scent when I come
into a room you’ve just left.

Know the lift of your heel,
the glide of your foot.

Become familiar with the way
you purse your lips
then let them part,
just the slightest bit,
when I lean in to your space
and kiss you.

I want to know the joy
of how you whisper
“more”

Fembots who lunch

So I’m in a group on flickr called One week of pictures and the most recent topic was movies. It is a great fun group to be in with people who take much better photos than I do. Absolutely worth checking out.

There had been a store that I wanted to check out in Second Life called “Ladies Who Lunch” by Faint Paulse and this outfit caught my eye and reminded me of the scene in Austin Powers where the Fembots had machine gun parts shooting out of their “Jubblies” So I dunno I sorta dressed myself up like how I thought an Austin Powers Fembot might. I really like Ladies who Lunch, it is a great store and a lot of fun to shop there.

Mood, Hucci & Lelutka..or I can't think of a much better title.

*Waves* Happy Sunday everyone. First I want to say that my dress in this photo is a free gift from Hucci. It’s one of the nicest groups to join because she is always having different things going on and you get some very nice gifts like this dress. I have always appreciated being in the Hucci subscribomatic group. There is also a sexy new swimwear release and more of these dresses in different colors that you should also go and check out.

The Hair accessory and earrings are from MOOD and called Pearle Blossoms for ToSL at a special price this weekend and it comes with a pair of earrings and these are just lovely. You can wear this gorgeous hair flower with many different hair styles and I love the delicate earrings that match. I love pearls and this is something that I could imagine wearing to a nice summer wedding or even a special date. If you are in the group there is also a set that you can get for free. More info on this here.

I am also wearing brand new shoes from Lelutka! These shoes are gorgeous and when you buy the pack it comes with three different options to change between the wood styles. It also has some very nice options for toe nail polish and I do love the toes on these shoes. I was not so great at using this hud though and it took me awhile to get my skin tones correct but that could just be me personally.. these shoes are gorgeous and worth the fitting around that you might have to do to get them to match. This hair is new from Truth called Kalia and I love it.

And with that, I hope you have a wonderful week!
