Really love the dress from the Seahole this week for project themeory. I got the socks that I am wearing from there too. The hair was a group gift FATPACK from Vive 9.. how amazing is that? The skin that I have been wearing lately is from Belleza which I didn’t know if I would like at first but I’m really loving the Aiko skin. My eyes are from Fashism. I’m sort of in love with the eyes there. I don’t really have much to say today so please enjoy your weekend.

Fabulous Sunglasses
Heya! So I’m here to say that sometimes the glasses can start an outfit. I was talking with “Stylist to the stars” Vaki yesterday of the blog “Insert Funny Name Here” and basically she teleported me to Muism where lived the most perfectly fantastic sunglasses every created in SL. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit but these sunglasses are truly awesome.
So I began messing around with outfits and found my massive collection of Leezu folders and put on these pants.. and then some time later this jacket.. and then Vaki found the perfect green bra (cause I don’t normally buy fun colors.. in bras and such) at Pixel Dolls where all the lingerie is criminally cheap. Before I knew it I was looking fabulous.. so I went over to Voc.Linda in second life and found some lovely scenery and snapped this photo.
This morning I also messed around with another color of the Muism glasses and Leezu clothing and these terrific Pixel Mode shoes which you can still get at the Shoe Fair.. which if you are going to the Shoe Fair.. go soon I went today again and there was NOOOO lag.. and came up with the look below:
Lionskins Show
Ok, so I don’t normally post these but my SL Mom Ms. Kiki Devin is going to be in a show tomorrow!!! Friday May 27th at 3 PM SLT
I Love her and am so proud.
MOOD is in Project Themeory!
The theme this weekend for Project Themeory is the Game Edition weekend. The choker that I am wearing is Final Fantasy themed and called “Summon”. The chokers are unisex and come in both male and female versions.
The earrings that I am wearing are from mood as well and have a fun pac-man theme and are available this weekend as well for project themeory. These are very fun and I loved Pac Man as a kid.
Both are available this weekend at the MOOD Mainstore.
I also have on a brand new skin from curio called Chic in “Mode”. I am also wearing Fashism eyes.
Baiastice debuts Maxine at the Shoe Fair
Hai! So one of the nicest finds to me at the Shoe fair came in the form of Baiastice. They have released some lovely shoes called Maxine and they are very much worth getting your butt over to the Shoe Fair to look at them in person. These shoes are first in the line of Spring/Summer shoes to be released by Baiastice this season.
All shoes come in two different sizes, normal and smaller avatars, and they are resizable and there are 20 different basic skin textures that are easy to match up with your current shade as well as more nail polish options that I’ve ever seen included with every shoe. I think that they are sexy and very affordable. These are one of my top picks for shoe fair.
I am also wearing a cute new release from *BOOM* in A Day on the Yacht in navy. Which is adorable and I took these photos at AM Radio’s Ferry sim.
This post doesn't have a title
When I first landed at the Shoe Fair, I saw a bag that I’ve liked for awhile that I’ve seen on plurk. It is the Bollywood Bag from Kari.. and normally I think purses and such are sorta silly in SL and in RL but I really did fall in love with this little messenger bag. At 125L it is a steal. It comes in both male and female sizes.
I took these photos at the Sick Sim. I like to go there and walk around. I always find some little detail there that makes the sim one of my favorites. I’ve blogged everything else that I’m wearing before but as a refresher.. The hair is from Truth. The Blazer and Park Avenue T-shirt are from Mon Tissue. The skirt is from Grixdale. The Stockings are from League. The black tie is from Armidi. The boots are from Gos and the skin is from Curio.
Pixel Mode brings Fae to The Shoe Fair of 2011
Pixel Mode by Shoe Fair Builder Tya Fallingbridge is located on the Ruthenium Sim of the Shoe Fair.
What I love about these shoes is that they are affordable. I believe they were less than 600L per pair. They are sexy, well sculpted, easy to tint and come in a huge variety of colors and a bunch of nail polish options. I also love the crease on the ankles giving it a very nice realistic effect.
I am also wearing Grixdale Long Vintage tank top in dust. The Grixdale Mini Skirt in smog. Hair from Elikatira, Nails from je’suis and skin from Laqroki. The pose that I am using is from Del May and the House and furniture stuff in the background are from Awesome Blossom who has an adorable cottage out for Super Bargain Saturday.
The Fourth Annual Second Life Shoe Fair – 2011
I was one of the 20 lucky bloggers chosen by a draw to attend the The Fourth Annual Second Life Shoe Fair which opens today at 12SLT and runs through May the 27th.
The theme of the Shoe Fair this year is Minimalism and it is perfectly executed by Tya Fallingbridge of Pixel Mode. I experienced little to no lag from the build and was able to walk around fairly quickly looking for the stores of my interest. The stores are compact and easy to navigate and things loaded for me fairly quickly.
The Shoe Fair is also sponsoring a Charity, the same as last year which is the Soles4Souls charity which has a simple concept: “we procure shoes and get them to those in need.” To me shoes are something we put on every day, and perhaps if we have them we take for granted that others might not have them and by supporting this event your donation could mean the world to someone else.
The Shoe Fair is not just limited to shoes this year as you can find other favorite stores that you know and love. If you are looking for a full list of vendors go here for the list.
Dutchie at The SL Home Garden & Patio Expo!
One of the most Zen-like places that I’ve found so far at the expo is a set up by Froukje Hoorenbeek for her store Dutchie. You can find her set up on Home Expo 3.
There is a large and welcoming white house, complete with a forest of pine trees, a sweet canopy bed and wardrobe with a discarded gown in the grass complemented by flowers in bloom, a pristine blanket perfect for a picnic or for getting closer and a secret well with more animations than you could even think of.
When I was snapping some photos for my post I was able to speak with Froukje a bit. She is by far one of the sweetest and most down to earth content creators that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in SL. I’m not just saying that either. There is something about her that just stands out and I was happy to have spoken to her, and her creations and the creativity that goes into what she does in SL is absolutely amazing. My photos are not doing it justice. You really have to just go see for yourself 🙂
Kittycats at SL Home Garden and Patio Expo!
One of the most amazing things in Second Life is the creativity that goes into each item made and if you visit Home Expo Sim 5 today you will see gigantic kittycats larger than life. Kittycats has generously agreed to sponsor a sim for the expo and it’s full of huge adorable cats (and some of them are even functional)! Also this is just a rumor but in kittycats chats there was an indication that they could be auctioning off some of the huge cats to benefit RFL!
Also if that isn’t exciting enough.. check this out – “The new KittyCat will make its debut at the Home Expo on May 14th. Callie Cline and Equinox Pinion will be presenting the new kitty on the Expo’s Main Stage at 12:30 pm, followed by the launch of a live music concert with Mankind Tracer. This marks the first time that RFL of SL has joined in a partnership of this type and they look forward to the KittyCatS’ presence at Relay Team Events, at the Expo and at Relay weekend, right alongside the Linden Bears.” So yes that means a new kittycat will be joining us soon! I’m excited to find out what it is!
